Upstate New York developer Bob Morgan, who five months earlier beat a federal mortgage fraud case, has been charged once again with mortgage fraud. So reports the Rochester (N.Y.) Democrat & Chronicle.
Morgan, his son, and two others face 114 criminal counts in the newly unsealed indictment, up from 104 in the previous case, which was dismissed after a judge ruled that prosecutors had been too slow to share evidence.
In a statement, attorneys for Morgan decried “the government’s meritless allegations and improper tactics.”
