Kiwibank has announced it will be putting up its interest rates for a number of home loans today.
Starting today, customers on six-month and one-year fixed home loans will see a slight increase.
Six-month fixed special rates will be going up 0.14% from 7.25% to 7.39%.
Standard rates will also be going up 0.14% from 8.25% to 8.39%.
The changes come as the Official Cash Rate remains at 5.5% with stubborn inflation hitting the cost of living.

Also in Kiwibank’s announcement today was a rise in 1-year fixed rates, up 0.10%, with special rates going from 7.25% to 7.35%.
Standard rates are up 0.10% as well, from 8.25% to 8.35%.
The rates will be higher for those without 20% equity in their property.
