Barclays Wyndham Cards: Up To 90,000 Points [Last Day]

When logged in it states ‘Limited-time offer ends 10/14/21’, unsure if it will actually end then. I’d recommend applying before then if interested in this card. Hat tip to Chris B

The Offer

Direct link to offer

  • Barclays is offering increased bonuses on the Wyndham cards of up to 90,000 points. The offers are as follows:
    • Earner Rewards: 45,000 points after you $1,000 in spend within 90 days and an additional 15,000 points after you spend a total of $2,000 within the six months

    • Earner Business: 60,000 points after you $1,000 in spend within 90 days and an additional 30,000 points after you spend a total of $2,000 within the six months

Card Details

    • Card earns
      • 5x points at Wyndham properties and on qualifying gas purchases
      • 2x points on eligible dining and grocery purchases
      • 1x points on all other purchases
    • No annual fee
    • Automatic Wyndham gold status
    • 10% discount on go free awards
    • Anniversary bonus of 7,500 points after you spend $15,000 on eligible purchases
  • Earner+ Rewards
    • Card earns
      • 6x points at Wyndham properties and on qualifying gas purchases
      • 4x points on eligible dining and grocery purchases
      • 1x points on all other purchases
    • Annual fee of $75, not waived first year
    • Automatic Wyndham platinum status
    • 10% discount on go free awards
    • Anniversary bonus of 7,500 points
  • Earner Business
    • Card earns
      • 8x points at Wyndham properties and on qualifying gas purchases
      • 5x points on marketing, advertising and utilities
      • 1x points on all other purchases
    • Annual fee of $95, not waived first year
    • Automatic Wyndham Diamond status
    • 10% discount on go free awards
    • Anniversary bonus of 15,00 points

Our Verdict

Previously the best bonuses were 45,000 points with the annual fee waived first year. These new offers are significantly better. All Wyndham properties used to cost 15,000 points per night, but there are now three tiers (7,500, 15,000 or 30,000) even at the most expensive properties this will give you three free nights. Always a good idea to do some searches to make sure you’ll actually be able to use the points before signing up, but this is a really good offer in my opinion. We will add these to the list of the best credit card bonuses.

    • Earn 40,000 bonus miles after spending a total of $6,000 in the first 12 months

Card Details

  • Annual fee of $99 is not waived the first year
  • Card earns at the following rate:
    • 3x miles on all Hawaiian Airlines purchase
    • 2x Hawaiiamiles on gas, dining and office supply store purchases
    • 1x miles on all other purchases
  • No foreign transaction fees
  • ShareMiles, ability to share miles with friends & family HawaiianAirlines.com
  • Earn up to 40,000 additional miles annually:
    • 20,000 bonus miles after spending $50,000-$99,999 on purchases during your card membership year
    • 40,000 bonus miles after spending $100,000 or more during your card membership year

Our Verdict

Previous best bonus on this card is 70,000 miles, so this is an extra 20,000 miles. The nice thing about Barclays business cards is that they don’t report to your personal credit report, so won’t count towards your 5/24 status. If you have a use for Hawaiian miles then this is a good deal, some popular redemption options include:

  • You can get flights for 35,000 miles round trip with the card from mainland USA to Hawaii, but there isn’t a lot of space available.
  • Intra island flights are 7,500 miles one way
  • They also sell sunglasses (Maui Jim)

Barclays used to request business documents for business card applications, but that no longer seems to be the case. We will add this to the best credit card bonus page. If you have any questions regarding Barclays cards, read this post first. There is also an 80,000 mile bonus on the personal card.

    • 1% back on all other purchases

Our Verdict

The best straight bonus on this card before was $300, but there was a $200 + $200 (20% back on Amazon) offered and home furnishing up to $500. This is a good deal if you just want a straight cash offer. We will add this to our list of the best credit card bonuses. There is also a $250 bonus on the everyday card, but not worth considering as there was previously a $350 deal.

  • You can get flights for 35,000 miles round trip with the card from mainland USA to Hawaii, but there isn’t a lot of space available.
  • Intra island flights are 7,500 miles one way
  • They also sell sunglasses (Maui Jim)

Sallie Mae (Accelerate and Evolve) Credit Cards: $200 Credit Card Bonuses

The Offer

Direct links to offers: Accelerate and Evolve

  • Sallie Mae are offering a $200 credit card bonus after $1,000 in spend within the first 3 months.

Our Verdict

These cards were launched in late 2019, the cards are issued by Sallie Mae Bank. I have no idea how difficult they are to get approved for because applying didn’t really make any sense before. Neither card has an annual fee. This is a pretty good cash sign up bonus, if it’s easy to get approved for we will add this to our list of the best credit card bonuses. Accelerate should be $266.66 if redeeming against a student loan.

Barclays jetBlue Plus Card – 70,000 Point Bonus

    • 2x points per dollar spent on restaurants and groceries (previously 1x point)
    • 1x points per dollar spent on all other purchases

  • No foreign transaction fees
  • $100 statement credit after you purchase a Getaways vacation package with your card
  • 50% savings on eligible inflight purchases including cocktails, food and movies

Our Verdict

Not as good as the 100,000 point bonus, but better than the 60,000 point bonus. Personally I’d probably wait to see if the 100,000 point will return. JetBlue award flight prices are linked to the cash price of a ticket, much like Southwest. If you have any questions about Barclays credit cards, read this post first.

Our Verdict

Previous best offer was 125k points + $200 restaurant credit. This is a better deal as long as you use the free night certificate on a stay you’d be happy to spend $200+ on normally as this is an extra 25k points. Personally I’d make sure you have a plan for three things before signing up:

  • What you’ll use the Marriott points on
  • What you’ll use the resort credit on
  • What you’ll use the free night certificate on

There is also an increased offer on the Marriott boundless & Marriott business card. We will add this to our list of the best credit card bonuses.

The Offer

Direct link to offer Do a dummy booking to see an additional $100 statement credit

  • You can now receive a sign up bonus of 50,000 points after $2,500 in spend within 90 days of account opening on the Bank of America Amtrak Credit card.

Card Details

  • 5% Amtrak Guest Rewards point rebate when you book your Amtrak redemption

Our Verdict

Previous best bonus was 40,000 points + $100. Sometimes you can get an additional $100 when doing a dummy booking, the current dummy booking offer is 20,000 points + $100 so I’d recommend waiting a few days/week to see if the dummy booking starts populating a 50,000 + $100 offer or not. Dummy booking with the additional $100 credit now available.

Amtrak points are worth the following:

  • Non-Acela tickets points are worth 2.9¢ each
  • Acela tickets points are worth 2.56¢ cent
  • Monthly passes (2.9¢) must be booked via phone. Others report a rate of 1.7¢.

If you’re unfamiliar with Amtrak, I’d recommend reading our complete guide to AGR here. If you have questions about Bank of America cards then read this post. Added this to our best credit card bonuses. Worth doing if you can take advantage of the Amtrak points.
