We’ve written many an article about how much Disney World has changed since the start of the pandemic. Luckily, most of Disney’s recent changes are swinging toward making upcoming trips feel like they did before the park temporarily closed in 2020.
However, one offering has been very slow to return, and some frequent Disney World visitors have been not-so-patiently waiting for it: the Disney Dining Plan. While that add-on isn’t back for use quite yet, it is now bookable for Disney vacation packages that include a hotel stay and theme park tickets or a resort-only reservation for visits on or after Jan. 9, 2024.

The idea of paying for your meals before your Disney World vacation is certainly enticing, but is it convenient — and filling — enough to justify the cost? It’s been a few years since Disney dining plans were on offer, so here’s everything you need to know before you decide to buy for your 2024 trips.
What is the Disney Dining Plan?
SUMMER HULL/THE POINTS GUY
With a Disney dining plan, you can prepay for a specified number of meals and snacks for your Disney World vacation.
How many meals and snacks you’ll get with a dining plan depends on the number of nights of your Disney World hotel stay. For example, if you are staying for three nights, you’ll get three days’ worth of meals and snacks to redeem during your stay.
FOR NO-COST ASSISTANCE WITH PLANNING AND BOOKING YOUR NEXT DISNEY VACATION, CHECK OUT TPG’S DISNEY BOOKING PARTNER, MOUSE COUNSELORS.
In addition to the convenience of prepaying for your meals, the Disney dining plan is flexible. You aren’t required to redeem a set number of meals and snacks each day; you can use them anytime during your stay.
If there is a day when you don’t use all of your credits, you’ll have even more meals and snacks to use the next day. If you have leftover snack credits at the end of your trip, you can stock up on prepackaged treats to take home and fend off the post-Disney blues.

What is included in a Disney dining plan?
TARAH CHIEFFI/THE POINTS GUY
There are currently two Disney dining plans that you can purchase for your 2024 vacations. Each comes with two meals, one snack and one mug with unlimited soda, water and coffee refills at your Disney hotel. However, one focuses on quick-service dining, and the other includes options for daily table-service meals.
Here is what you’ll get with each package:
Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan
Two quick-service meals per night stayed.
A snack or nonalcoholic drink per night stayed.
One refillable drink mug with unlimited refills at your resort.
Disney Dining Plan
One table-service meal per night stayed.
One quick-service meal per night stayed.
A snack or nonalcoholic drink per night stayed.
One refillable drink mug with unlimited refills at your resort.
A “quick-service meal” includes an entree and nonalcoholic beverage at any eligible quick-service dining location, such as Woody’s Lunch Box in Hollywood Studios, Columbia Harbour House in the Magic Kingdom or Capt. Cook’s at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. These are essentially the spots where a waiter doesn’t come to your table; instead, you pick your food up from the counter.
For breakfast, a “table-service meal” includes an entree, buffet or family-style meal and a nonalcoholic beverage at any participating table-service restaurant. For brunch, lunch or dinner, you can also order a dessert with your entree at table-service restaurants.

If you have your heart set on a character meal at Cinderella’s Royal Table or a signature dining experience like Topolino’s Terrace at Disney’s Riviera Resort, select restaurants will allow you to redeem two table-service credits for these experiences. However, not all character meals require two credits. Chef Mickey’s at the Contemporary Resort, for example, is just one credit for both breakfast and dinner.
If you purchase a Disney dining plan for a child aged 3 to 9, you must order from the children’s menu at any restaurant that offers one.
Snacks on both plans include single-serve items like popsicles, ice cream bars (including the iconic Mickey ice cream bar), a box of popcorn, a 20-ounce soda, a piece of whole fruit and more. You can also use your snack credits to purchase bags of snacks at your hotel gift shop or other retail locations.
WALT DISNEY WORLD
Participating dining locations should have details on their website regarding which dining plans are accepted and how many credits you’ll need to redeem to dine there. Some fine dining restaurants, such as Takumi-Tei in Epcot and Victoria & Albert’s at the Grand Floridian Resort, do not accept the dining plan.
Keeping track of your credits is also relatively simple. Each time you redeem a credit, you should see your remaining credits printed on the receipt. You can also check on your remaining balance under the “My Plans” section of the My Disney Experience app.

How much does a Disney dining plan cost?
A meal at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. SUMMER HULL/THE POINTS GUY
The cost of a Disney dining plan depends on which plan you choose and the length of your stay. Pricing starts at $57 per night for adults and $23 for kids.
Here is a more detailed nightly breakdown of each plan:
Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan
Adults: $57.
Children age 3 to 9: $24.
Disney Dining Plan
Adults: $94.
Children age 3 to 9: $30.
Tax is already included when you redeem a credit for a meal or snack, but you will still have to pay out of pocket for tips at table-service restaurants. That will add to the overall cost of the plan, so factor that into the cost if you’re thinking about purchasing the table-service dining plan.
How do you purchase a Disney dining plan?
There are two ways to purchase a Disney dining plan. You can include a dining plan when you purchase your Disney World vacation package online, over the phone or through an authorized Disney vacation planner. Or, you can add it on anytime after you purchase your vacation package up until the day before your arrival.
Is a Disney dining plan worth it?
Now for the fun part – let’s do some math. Before you choose to purchase a Disney dining plan, you want to determine whether the plan’s cost provides more value than if you paid for your meals out of pocket.
Let’s look at how much food you can get — and the cash total — on a typical day with each plan for one adult.
Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan
Lunch at Casey’s Corner in the Magic Kingdom
Footlong, Chicago-style hot dog — $14.
Fountain beverage — $5.
Dinner at ABC Commissary in Hollywood Studios
Shrimp tacos — $12.
Glass of chardonnay — $9.
Snack at ice cream cart in the Magic Kingdom
Mickey ice cream bar — $6.
Refillable resort mug
Average of three soda or coffee refills per day — $12.
Total cash price: $58 plus tax.
Daily cost of Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan: $57.
SUMMER HULL/THE POINTS GUY
Disney Dining Plan
Lunch at Connections Eatery in Epcot
Southwestern burger — $14.
Vanilla shake — $7.
Dinner at Ohana at the Polynesian Village Resort
All-you-care-to-enjoy dinner — $59.
Polynesian mai tai — $15.50.
Snack at ice cream cart in Epcot
Mickey pretzel — $7.49.
Refillable resort mug
Average of three soda or coffee refills per day — $12.
Total cash price: $114.99 plus tax.
Daily cost of Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan: $94.
Enjoy dinner at Disney’s Polynesian with the Dining Plan. SUMMER HULL/THE POINTS GUY
As you can see, it is possible to break even or come out ahead with a Disney dining plan if you maximize the value of your credits by choosing more expensive restaurants, selecting pricier menu items and factoring in the cost of unlimited drink refills at your resort.
For example, ordering alcohol (for adults) or a milkshake (for kids) with your meal will get you more value than ordering a soda; ordering a steak or seafood will probably be a better value than ordering a chicken or vegetable dish.
The real question is whether or not you want that much to eat and drink in a day. If you don’t use all of your credits, you are essentially leaving money on the table. You’ll need to do a little math and plot out how you’d use up all the credits to see if you will come out ahead. Of course, for some people, the opportunity to not worry about food costs while enjoying time in the park is worth the price of the plan.
SUMMER HULL/THE POINTS GUY
Bottom line
Whether or not the Disney dining plan is a good value for you depends on your budget, vacation style, and eating and drinking preferences. This is going to be different for everyone.
Fans of this “all-inclusive” option love that you can truly leave the real world behind and live in the “Disney bubble.” However, Disney dining plans are only worth the monetary cost if you maximize your credits and ensure no Mickey ice cream bar, pretzel or beverage is left behind.

This may seem like a silly question. But, everyone needs to know…
What frugal billionaire eats almost every breakfast at McDonald’s?
While this billionaire isn’t as famous for their glamour shots as most on The Hollywood Gossip, they still drive many thought-provoking questions.
And today’s starts with breakfast…
Combined with is the market up or down?
I am sure you have all heard by now that McDonald’s is one of the most frugal places to eat, but how about a billionaire eating there for breakfast?
Every. Single. Day.
What frugal billionaire eats almost every breakfast at McDonald’s?
Warren Buffett, one of the richest people in the world, has a surprisingly frugal breakfast routine. Every day, he eats breakfast at McDonald’s.
Shocking, I know.
So why does Buffett eat McDonald’s every day for breakfast?
It likely has something to do with the low cost and convenience of the restaurant. He enjoys the food there, calling it “normal stuff.”
If you want to save money or a simple breakfast option, following Warren Buffett’s lead might be a good idea. Just head to your nearest McDonald’s for some cheap and tasty grub!
What does he eat for breakfast?
Warren Buffett is a famously frugal billionaire, and he has a particular fondness for McDonald’s breakfast items.
This is the rumor of how Buffett decides what to eat in the morning:
If the premarket or stock market is up, he chooses a bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit.
If the premarket or stock market is down, he opts for two sausage patties – a cheaper option.
When the market is flat, he selects a sausage McMuffin
In 1975, the Egg McMuffin was about 63 cents at the time! Today, you would expect to pay $2.79.
This may not seem like much, but it’s an important part of his billionaire morning routine.
How can you save money on breakfast like the frugal billionaire?
There are many ways to save money on breakfast like the frugal billionaire.
One way is to cook at home, which can be a cheaper option than eating out.
Another way is to eat leftovers from dinner the night before, or pack a lunch instead of buying food at work. You could also try skipping breakfast altogether or buying food from a less expensive restaurant.
Whatever you do, remember that being frugal doesn’t mean sacrificing your health or your happiness.
There are plenty of affordable options for breakfast (and every other meal) that can help you stick to your budget without feeling deprived. So go ahead and enjoy that delicious breakfast McMuffin from McDonald’s—you deserve it!
How much is Warren Buffett worth?
Warren Buffett is an American business magnate, investor, and philanthropist. He is the chairman and CEO of Berkshire Hathaway, and he has a net worth of $114 billion as of May 2022, making him the world’s sixth richest individual.
Buffett runs Berkshire Hathaway, which has over 60 organizations and owns such companies as Geico, Duracell, and Dairy Queen. In addition to his primary occupation, Buffett is also a noted value investor and has been referred to as the “Oracle of Omaha”.
Buffett initially purchased stock at the age of 11 and first documented taxes at 13 years old. He made his first million in 1962 when he sold shares in Graham-Newman Corp., where he worked for Benjamin Graham (a well-known value investor).
Buffett’s wealth has largely come from two sources: investments and dividends/interest payments on stocks he holds.
In late 1995, Warren Buffett bought a few shares of McDonald’s stock–and now owns more than $2 billion worth. However, he isn’t just interested in fast food; Buffett also owns sizable stakes in Coca-Cola Co., IBM Corp., Wells Fargo & Co., and American Express Co.
Yes, this is over 10 figures.
How much does Warren Buffett make per second?
Warren Buffett is without a doubt one of the most successful businessmen in the world.
According to Strive.co, it is estimated Warren Buffett makes $165 a second!!
Over $9,915 a minute, which is higher than most people make in one month! In fact, it is almost double the average monthly salary for someone making 60000 a year.
Buffett’s Long-Term Success
Buffett’s success comes from his ability to make smart investments and focus on long-term success rather than short-term gains. He is also very generous with his wealth, having given more than $41 billion to charitable causes over his lifetime.
Despite being one of the richest people in the world, Buffett remains humble and focuses on making decisions that will benefit his shareholders (per-share) rather than just increasing his total net worth.
This approach has served him well over the years and made him one of the most successful investors ever.

In today’s modern world, the house goals of yesteryear are a distant memory.
Long gone are the days of window shutters, oversized crystal chandeliers, multiple small rooms, intricate designs, wrought-iron railings, small windows, and large porches with overhanging beams.
Modern mansions favor simple and clean designs with open spaces.
While traditional mansions offer intricate and elegant details, today’s luxury homes feature straight lines, geometric shapes, a flat or low-sloped roof, and clean exteriors with little to no texture.
Luxurious homes of the past featured building materials such as brick, wood, plaster, stucco, and stone. Meanwhile, contemporary mansions favor newer, more technologically-advanced building materials including reinforced steel and concrete.
And windows, lots and lots of floor-to-ceiling windows.
Sophisticated smart homes are all the rage, as are connected outdoor spaces, white rooms and simple color palettes, open floor plans, glass walls allowing for ample natural light, green features, security settings, and the utmost privacy.
While traditional mansions typically featured a number of small, single-purpose rooms, modern floor plans include seamless open-ended spaces.
After all, one cannot be confined to small spaces while living that luxurious lifestyle!

Lastly, the party never has to end thanks to the onboard nightclub, jazz lounge, and 10,000 -bottle wine cellar.

“We’re delighted Mauricio Umansky and Santiago Arana of The Agency will be at the helm of sales and marketing for the first ten luxury residences aboard NJORD,” said Kristian Stensby, Founder and CEO of Ocean Residences Development.

It’s an adventure around the globe and, according to Alain Gruber, COO of Ocean Residences Development Ltd, residents can choose to either completely relax or participate in the activities and expeditions planned by the concierge.
The best part about NJORD (other than the fact that you will get to circumnavigate the planet) is that you will do so sustainably.
The developers aim to build it under strict environmental regulations to minimize its carbon footprint.
The vessel will not only use carbon-neutral fuel but also include a professional oceanographic laboratory, a cloud computing system, multibeam echo sounders, and other resources to help the scientific community tackle environmental issues like climate change.

If you’re not familiar with John Lautner’s iconic Beverly Crest mansion, or with the estate’s flamboyant owner, then you’re definitely missing out. This 1963-built mansion is an architectural gem and one of Hollywood’s best-kept secrets.
The Sheats Goldstein residence: John Lautner’s organic architecture dream
The 4,500-square-foot Sheats-Goldstein residence was designed by John Lautner (one of the most noteworthy American architects of the twentieth century) and built between 1961 and 1963, in Los Angeles’ Beverly Crest neighborhood.
The concrete-and-wood house was built into the sandstone ledge of a hill, and it’s a testament to the connection between man and nature.
Each space is open and offers stunning views of downtown Los Angeles and the Pacific Ocean, with glass walls throughout that serve to blend the indoors with the outdoors.

John Lautner designed the American Organic Architecture house for Helen and Paul Sheats and their three children. After going through a couple of different owners, it was acquired by James F. Goldstein, a businessman, real estate investor, and fashion designer, in 1972.
At the time, the house had fallen into disrepair and was in dire need of a makeover, so Goldstein reached out to Lautner to help bring the residence back to its former glory.

What emerged was a two-decades-long partnership to remodel the house, which ended when John Lautner passed away in 1994. However, Goldstein never stopped tweaking and upgrading his Beverly Crest dwelling, even adding a nightclub to the list of amenities.
The James Goldstein house turned museum in 2016
The Sheats-Goldstein Residence, as the property is now known, still maintains all the original designs and touches that John Lautner carefully created.

His work is not limited to just the architecture of the house; Lautner also designed the interiors, the windows, lighting systems, all the furniture, the rugs, and other details.
James Goldstein worked with the designer for years to ensure every little detail was in tune with the overall theme of ‘organic’ architecture.
The result is a house so unique, so carefully crafted and fresh, that Goldstein wants everyone to be able to tour it and be inspired by it.
That’s why, in 2016, he decided that he would donate the house, with everything in it, to the Los Angeles County Museum of Art.

James Goldstein entrusted the home, its surrounding estate, as well as a 1961 Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud and his eclectic wardrobe to the museum. This way, his and Lautner’s legacy will continue to inspire and attract curious minds and aspiring architects and designers. And let’s not forget about the celebrities.
Why Jimmy Goldstein’s house is Hollywood’s best-kept secret
The James Goldstein house, besides serving as home to the elusive businessman, has also been used by various showbiz producers and directors.
If you thought the house seemed familiar, you might have seen it in The Big Lebowski, as the home of porn merchant Jackie Treehorn, or in Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle, where it played the part of Alex’s house (Lucy Liu).
The house has also served as a setting for fashion ads and commercials, glamorous events, and, well, porn flicks. James Goldstein has always kept an open mind, apparently.
Then there’s the nightclub. Dubbed Club James, for obvious reasons, the venue was Goldstein’s idea, to keep Hollywood parties out of his house, but still close by.

Exclusive parties and events are held at Club James round the clock; Rihanna celebrated her 27th birthday party here, with Jay Z, Mick Jagger, and Leo DiCaprio in attendance. Needless to say, Goldstein wants the good times to keep rolling at Club James even after he’s gone.
Movies filmed at the Sheats-Goldstein residence
James Goldstein’s unique house is one of the most popular filming locations in Los Angeles, for obvious reasons. There’s just no other place quite like it, and its intricate design and stunning architecture draw celebrities like a magnet.
Various Hollywood movies and TV shows were filmed at the Sheats-Goldstein residence, including the now-iconic The Big Lebowski.
It’s by far the most recognizable house featured in the movie, set up as the home of adult film producer Jackie Treehorn, which earned Jimmy Goldstein’s house the moniker of ‘the Big Lebowski house’.
Scene from The Big Lebowski showing Jeff ‘The Dude’ Lebowski inside Jackie Treehorn’s house (The Sheats-Goldstein Residence).
The other striking property in the movie is Lebowski’s opulent mansion, which is actually another popular filming location, namely the Greystone Mansion in Beverly Hills. This is where movies like The Social Network, Eraserhead, The Witches of Eastwick, The Prestige, and X-Men were filmed.
But while the Sheats-Goldstein residence is known by many as Jackie Treehorn’s house or the Big Lebowski house, it’s been featured in quite a long list of other movies, including Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle (2003), Star Time (1992), and Bandits (2001, starring Bruce Willis, Billy Bob Thornton, and Cate Blanchett).
It was also featured in music videos, including Doja Cat’s Say So, Nelly’s The Fix, Babyface’s We’ve Got Love, and Snoop Dogg & Pharell’s Let’s Get Blown.

The house is so impressive that in 2021, Kanye West aka Ye enlisted James Goldstein to help him design and spruce up his newly-purchased Malibu mansion.
The rapper was reportedly impressed and fascinated with the architecture of the Sheats-Goldstein house, and wanted to do something similar with his $57 million new home.
Unfortunately, those plans were put on hold, according to The Sun, after the star lost billions due to some very controversial remarks.
In the meantime, the residence is available for rent for photoshoots, and we’re willing to bet we’ll be seeing more of it in upcoming movies, TV shows, and music videos.
Decoding the mystery: Who is James Goldstein?
If you’re wondering, who the hell is this James Goldstein and why haven’t I heard of him before, unfortunately we don’t know a whole lot about him either.
Despite his flamboyant style and constant public appearances (he’s an avid NBA fan and attends as many matches as he possibly can), James Goldstein still remains somewhat of a mystery.
James ‘Jimmy’ Goldstein attends the Playboy App Kick Off Launch Celebrating Eugenia Kuzmina at The Godfrey Hotel Hollywood, in Los Angeles, on August 18, 2022. Photo credit: Eugene Powers / Shutterstock.com
We know he grew up in Milwaukee and then moved to California to attend Stanford University, after which he got into real estate and started investing heavily in developing Century City in L.A. He’s always been into fashion, constantly in the front row at glamorous fashion shows, and he even has his own fashion line.
Back in the day, he’s also said to have had an affair with American actress, singer, and Playboy Playmate Jayne Mansfield, who was married to someone else at the time. Still, he never married, and he has no children, which is why the decision to donate his unique home to LACMA came naturally.
This is the first-ever architecture donation made to the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, and it’s surely one that will continue to inspire young architects, interior designers, and art and fashion aficionados for many years to come.
For now, James Goldstein is living his best, most glamorous life up in his hillside mansion overlooking the City of Angels.
What’s more, James Goldstein’s net worth is reportedly around $350 million – not a bad way to live life in your 80s, is it?

Society’s obsession with celebrities is big biz! And when it comes to cashing in on it, paparazzi moguls François and Brandy Navarre are laughing all the way to the bank.
The couple just listed a palatial property in the upscale Los Angeles neighborhood of Pacific Palisades and they’re hoping to cash in $12,225,000 from their latest real estate venture.
Just the latest in a long streak of million dollar homes they bought (and later sold at a profit), François and Brandy Navarre’s house is listed with Zac Mostame and Santiago Arana of The Agency and Andreas Elsenhans of Westside Estate Agency.

From king & queen of the paparazzi to prolific real estate investors
Celebrity photos are a hot commodity. Whether an A-lister is caught canoodling with a beau, dropping their kids off at school, or simply out and about doing everyday errands, there’s big bucks in celebrity photos — which are taken by photographers dubbed ‘the paparazzi’.
Just ask François and Brandy Navarre, paparazzi moguls and real estate developers who are testament to the multi-million dollar industry of paparazzi pics.
The couple are co-founders and owners of the most successful celebrity gossip and paparazzi agency in Hollywood: X17.
Known for their aggressive tactics, hiding drones and long zoom lenses in pursuit of the perfect pic, the Navarres have built their dynasty off famous folks doing their ‘regular’ routines of getting groceries, exercising in their neighborhoods and going on the school run with their kids.
Of course, with great success comes great responsibility. Last year, X17 was sued by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle over unauthorized images of their son Archie. Jennifer Aniston also sued the couple over topless photos taken outside her Malibu home.
And many other celebrities — such as Kristen Bell, Dax Shepard, Halle Berry, Britney Spears and Jennifer Garner, to name a few — have been outspoken about the invasive and unsafe elements of having to deal with the paparazzi on a daily basis.
Like it or not, society’s obsession with celebrities is a money-making industry and the Navarres have profited in a big way — becoming as wealthy as their A-list clientele.
And as it turns out, their profitable paparazzi dynasty has afforded them some luxurious digs in the competitive Los Angeles real estate market.
A look at the Navarres’ past real estate ventures
According to Dirt, in 2021 the Navarres sold an 8,500-square foot estate in Los Angeles’ Pacific Palisades for $13.7 million.
And in 2005, they purchased a Pacific Palisades home for $5 million, which was located next door to Conan O’Brien’s estate, which they later listed for sale asking $15.9 million.
The former paparazzi couple also bought a beach house in 2000 for $1.7 million. The Malibu home has been for sale and for rent since 2016, with a listed price of $7.5 million and a summer rental rate at $45,000 per month.
Their latest home in Pacific Palisades has just hit the market
And now, the Navarres have listed another property for $12.225 million.
Located in their seemingly favorite upscale neighborhood of Pacific Palisades, the stunning estate is overlooking the Riviera surrounded by serene greenery and landscapes.
The midcentury modern home features 5 bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms and a detached guest house.

Boasting an open floor plan and living area with vaulted ceilings and exposed beams, the luxurious Los Angeles home has jaw-dropping ocean views amid its 5,500-square feet.
The outdoor amenities include a pool, patio and plenty of gorgeous greenery to soak up the sweet California sunshine.
The plush property is listed by Zac Mostame and Santiago Arana of The Agency and Andreas Elsenhans of Westside Estate Agency.
