With a slick Insta post captioned, “black is beautiful from my skin to even stars in a jet black sky 🖤,” Trippie Redd, the hit machine, showed off his Florida mansion, and it’s as unapologetically bold as his music.
We talking about Michael Lamar White IV here, known to the beat-droppin world as Trippie Redd. The American rapper, singer, and songwriter ain’t just making waves — nah, he’s creating tsunamis with his tracks.
Since bursting into the scene in 2017 with his debut mixtape A Love Letter to You, Trippie has been serving us double platinum-certified singles like a gourmet chef. His studio albums, like Life’s a Trip and Pegasus soared to the top of the Billboard 200.
His artistic alchemy ain’t just in the studio; it spills over into his abode, as majestic and enigmatic as his anthems, recently unveiled on the rapper’s Instagram feed.
Drenched in the slickest shade from roof to floor, Trippie’s all-black Florida mansion is flipping the script on our vanilla home dreams.
The moment fans peeped at the majestic mansion dipped in the deepest of blacks, the comments section lit up like the Fourth of July:
“That AC bill gonna be twerkin’ harder than us at a Trippie concert!” one commenter said, hinting at the sizzling Florida heat and the year-round sun hitting the black exteriors from sunrise to sunset.
And they aren’t wrong! Imagine the digits on that electric bill that, as one commenter pointed out “could straight up pass for a mortgage payment in Cali!”
Another chimes in with, “Gives very much Adams family, I see the vision 😂,” catching the eerie but swanky aura. Yet another fan found similarities with another famous movie house, “Bro is living in Gru’s house,” referencing the famous Despicable Me character and his black house.
Machine Gun Kelly himself, the rap game’s own rocker — who now goes simply by MGK — slid into the comments, hailing Trippie as the “real dark knight” — yeah, Batman’s got nothin’ on this superstar.
And MGK likely knows what he’s talking about, as he and Trippie have been spending lots of time together preparing for the release of their joint album Genre:Sadboy which came out on March 29. So don’t go stepping on Trippie Redd’s toes.
But let’s break it down for real — Trippie’s been serving us hits since 2017 with his debut mixtape and hasn’t slowed down, not even to take a breath. From A Love Letter to You to Life’s a Trip, and soaring through the Billboard charts with bangers like Dark Knight Dummo and Topanga, the man’s been on a relentless roll.
So, it only makes sense his house hits as hard as his tracks, right?

Tyler, The Creator, a name synonymous with innovation, creativity, and sheer talent, has not only made waves with his groundbreaking tracks but also through his impressive forays into fashion and entrepreneurship.
With two Grammy Awards under his belt and a net worth that’s the envy of many, it’s only fitting that Tyler’s living situation mirrors his larger-than-life persona.
Set in the lush, exclusive neighborhood of Bel Air, California, Tyler, The Creator’s house is a sprawling mansion that screams luxury and showcases Tyler’s unique sense of style. And it’s a significant upgrade from the rapper’s previous abode — set nearby.
That’s right, the hip-hop heavyweight, who’s also a founding member of the rap collective Odd Future is now a real-life Prince of Bel Air (and the spot was right open, as the OG Fresh Prince, Will Smith, lives in Calabasas).
He recently traded a $7 million, one-story residence originally built in 1965 for a distinctly modern, three-story home (with an endless list of amenities) also located in Bel Air. And, just in case you were wondering where Tyler, The Creator lives nowadays, we’re here to give you a closer look at his home upgrade.
The house at a glance
Fresh off the heels of his launch of a deluxe re-release of his Grammy Award-winning album, Call Me If You Get Lost: The Estate Sale, Tyler — by his real name, Tyler Gregory Okonma — splurged on a $13 million mansion in the ritzy Bel Air neighborhood.
Tucked away on a woodsy parcel sitting on almost an acre of land, Tyler paid $2 million less than the asking price for his newly renovated (or rather, rebuilt) property.
The house had been listed for sale in November 2022 for $15,000,000 and Tyler purchased it three months later, with public records showing that the sale went through right before Valentine’s Day on February 14, 2023, giving himself a grand self-gift that rivals the best box of chocolates.
And the property isn’t just your regular house; it’s a 5,000-square-foot modern marvel sitting on nearly an acre of prime Bel Air land.
With 4 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms, and an open floor plan that seamlessly merges indoor and outdoor living, the property is a dream come true for anyone with a penchant for the finer things in life. Swipe through the photos to see inside Tyler’s house:
Completely rebuilt one year before Tyler purchased it, the three-level house replaced another three-story structure built in the early 1970s, meaning the WusYaName singer is basically living in a newly built home.
Designed with an eye for contemporary elegance and a nod to rustic charm, the mansion boasts breathtaking views of the city and ocean, making every moment in this house an experience in itself.
From the custom Brazilian wood floors with a white oak finish to the steel case windows that frame the stunning vistas outside, every detail in Tyler’s home has been curated to offer not just comfort but a statement of luxury.
The inclusion of a step-up cigar lounge and a formal living room adds layers of sophistication, making the house not just a living space but a venue for artistic inspiration and high-end entertainment.
Standout amenities for the modern music mogul
But what sets Tyler, The Creator’s Bel Air mansion apart are the amenities that cater to every conceivable luxury.
Let the property’s former real estate agent, Ben Bacal — who held the listing alongside his colleague Rachael Williams from Revel Real Estate — give you the gist of things in this quick video tour posted on his Instagram profile when the house was first listed:
The saltwater swimming pool is a centerpiece of the outdoor area, perfect for those sunny California days.
For movie enthusiasts and cinephiles, the state-of-the-art movie theater offers an immersive experience without ever needing to step outside.
Health and wellness are also a priority, with a dry sauna available for a detoxifying session after a long day. The expansive wood deck, complete with a fire pit, full bar, and gas grill, ensures that entertaining guests is always a breeze, providing a perfect blend of ambiance and amenities for any gathering.
In a world where privacy is a luxury, this property, hidden behind private gates and surrounded by a tranquil woodsy setting, offers a serene escape from the hustle and bustle, giving the Grammy Award-winning rapper the much-needed privacy he deserves.
Yet, it’s the home’s tech-driven features, from the sophisticated smart home controls to the luxury of an 8-car parking space, that underscore Tyler’s penchant for the cutting edge.
The other Bel Air home Tyler sold
Tyler, The Creator’s decision to snap up another Bel Air mansion doesn’t come as much of a surprise, as the Igor rapper has long been calling the upscale Los Angeles neighborhood home.
Prior to his $13 million manse purchase, Tyler owned another Bel-Air abode, a lovely mid-century home with contemporary interiors — which he listed for sale in late 2022 for $7 million.

The single-story home was built in 1965, but heavily updated sometime in the 1950s.
Sporting 4 bedrooms, 4.5 baths, a large living room with a fireplace, a huge primary bedroom with two walk-in closets, and a home theatre, the house clearly wasn’t a good fit for the Call Me If You Get Lost rapper.
Less than a year after purchasing it, Tyler listed that property at a loss (he paid $7.9 million for it just 12 months prior).
Hopefully, he’s now found the right fit with his new $13 million Bel Air abode.

Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr., aka Snoop Dogg, has had many impressive wins over his long-spanning career. However, there’s one notable triumph that often flies under the radar – his real estate prowess.
While he’s been dropping beats, he’s also dropped and set firm roots in a sweet neighborhood.
Believe it or not, he bought the property for less than $1 million.
The palatial estate was reconstructed to ensure it was fit for one of the OG kings of hip-hop. It has now doubled in value, thanks to major improvements and additions to the property.
While Snoop has multiple mansions, his Diamond Bar, California home has been his main residence for over 20 years! Some celebs buy, sell, and trade their houses like it’s a game of Monopoly but Snoop likes to chill back and enjoy when he’s found a good deal.
Before this bargain purchase, the rapper also had another Californian mansion under $1 million, which he sold for more, earning him around $2 million. His real estate moves are as slick as his rhymes!
Snoop Dogg’s first-ever mansion in California
Snoop was discovered by hip-hop legend Dr. Dre back in 1992. He was signed to Death Row and soon dropped his debut album Doggystyle.
After his career took off, he purchased his first mansion in California for $660,000. The Mediterranean-style home originally had 3,700 square feet of living space and was later expanded to 6,527 square feet.
This major renovation saw the value of the home shoot up, enabling Snoop to sell the house for a nifty profit in 2007.
The eight-bedroom home is located in a cul-de-sac in a quiet neighborhood in Claremont, California. Snoop proudly showcased the property in an episode of MTV Cribs and also introduced his family and pack of dogs to the audience.

His longtime Diamond Bar mansion was purchased for only $720,000
Following the sale of his first mansion, Snoop moved to Diamond Bar, where he bought his beloved home for $720,000.
The gorgeous mansion that has been serving as Snoop Dogg’s house for well over 20 years now has about 4,000 square feet of living space and sits on 2.8 acres of land in a gated community.
The four-bedroom, four-bathroom mansion offers luxurious living, with a spacious living room, a formal dining room, a modern kitchen, and a library.
Outdoors, there is a large pool with a jacuzzi, an outdoor patio, and a basketball court. As the home is on top of a hill, panoramic views of the area surround the property.
Snoop loved the community so much that he bought another house on the same street, just minutes away from his main mansion.
According to reports, he only uses his second house as a place where he can relax, play, and work on his music. The three-bedroom house was transformed into a fully functioning recording studio with the best equipment.

If you didn’t know yet, then let us tell you – Snoop doesn’t play when it comes to his office. It’s go big or go home for this guy and we definitely can’t help but admire his passion for his craft.
Snoop’s music studio complex — The Compound — was custom-made to look like a spaceship
The rapper linked up with Westlake Pro design to create a music studio complex modeled after a spaceship.
The futuristic space dubbed “The Compound” is located in Inglewood, California, and features state-of-the-art technology, recording consoles, and custom furniture.
It has three main rooms named Starship, Battleship, and Mothership — and each area is designed with significant decors, memorabilia, and music equipment.
On the hallways of his music studio, Snoop paid tribute to the greats who have inspired his career.
A mural of N.W.A, which he called “the backbone of West Coast hip-hop”, is displayed proudly alongside Star Wars artwork, as well as framed posters of Snoop’s albums and other prized possessions.
His wife of 26 years, Shante Broadus, also has a special spot in The Compound — a dance studio that pays tribute to performers like Janet Jackson, Beyonce, and Michael Jackson.
The property also houses some of the rapper’s impressive car collection, which includes a Ferrari, a Rolls-Royce Phantom VII, and several classic lowriders.
Currently, the rapper has been busy growing his empire. His career has now come full circle, as he acquired Death Row records in 2022.
“I am thrilled and appreciative of the opportunity to acquire the iconic and culturally significant Death Row Records brand, which has immense untapped future value,” the hip-hop icon said.
“It feels good to have ownership of the label I was part of at the beginning of my career and as one of the founding members. This is an extremely meaningful moment for me… I’m looking forward to building the next chapter of Death Row Records.”
And we’re looking forward to seeing what comes next!

Usher has been quietly living in Las Vegas since 2022
The rapper, who’s been spending most of his time in Europe as of late, with paparazzi following him and wife Bianca Censori relentlessly while on tour, has just listed his uber-expensive Malibu pad for sale.
Designed by Pritzker Prize-winner Tadao Ando, the Malibu Road house is one of the lauded Japanese architect’s few projects on American soil — another one being Beyonce and Jay-Z’s $200 million house, also located in Malibu.
When Kanye purchased it, the property was being touted as part beachfront residence, part modernist sculpture, making it a great choice for the artist whose minimalist-yet-daring style choices often grace the front covers of magazines.
But not much is left, as the structure has been altered considerably during Kanye’s ownership.
The Vultures rapper bought the roughly 4,000-square-foot beachfront house just two years ago, in 2021, for a whopping $57.3 million — though it’s worth noting that the property was once listed for $75 million.
Retired Wall Street financier Richard Sachs, best known as the ex-boyfriend of former Full House star Ashley Olson, sold it to the recording artist and Yeezy founder.
Now, Kanye West listed the 4-bedroom, 5-bath Malibu abode for $53,000,000, with Selling Sunset star and Oppenheim Group founder Jason Oppenheim landing the listing.
“I wanted to have a listing with such architectural pedigree,” Oppenheim told PEOPLE, adding that the property’s Malibu Road location is “one of the most desirable areas in the world.”
We don’t know whether that means that the rapper’s house will be featured in the upcoming Season 8 of Selling Sunset, but if you’d like to take a look inside Kanye West’s house in Malibu, Jason already put the pictures up on his Instagram (though it looks like he used the listing photos from the home’s last run on the market):
Ye’s crumbled plans for the property
The Malibu house was no impulse buy.
Kanye West had big plans for his beachfront spread.
First, he said he would work with businessman James Goldstein to make it more like his famous Sheats-Goldstein Residence — another concrete-heavy, modernist abode that bears the signature of lauded architect John Lautner.
Then, according to TMZ, he set out to turn the architectural property into a “bomb shelter from the 1910s,” removing all windows and electricity from the home. Here’s how it looks like now:

In fact, the rapper is even being sued by the former property caretaker and project manager he hired for the remodel.
Tony Saxon, who was reportedly hired in September 2021 as project manager, caretaker, and 24/7 security for the mogul’s Malibu home, is suing West, claiming he’s owed $1 million for the work he did on the property, which included several labor code violations.
“Tony worked as the construction project manager and 24/7 security guard when Kanye was having the home gutted, and Kanye put him through hell, violating numerous labor codes and employment laws in the process,” Saxon’s lawyer, president of West Coast Employment Lawyers Neama Rahmani, said in a statement released after news broke about Kanye selling his house.
“This house was ‘a Picasso on the water’ before Kanye ordered Tony to rip it apart. So, while we’re pleased Kanye may finally have the money to fulfill his obligations to Mr. Saxon, buyer beware.”
Now, what’s left of the Tadao Ando-designed home is a concrete shell exposed to the elements, per Robb Report.
How can Kanye’s house command such a high price in its current state?
If you’re wondering why anyone would consider paying over $50 million for a gutted house, or whether Kanye was completely off-base when setting the price, let us provide some context on how the property was priced.
#1 Location, location, location
We know all too well that location is the name of the game in real estate.
With enough funds, there’s almost nothing you can’t change about a house, except for location and lot size (and even the latter is debatable, as you can always purchase additional lots by convincing neighbors to sell).
But the location is the one fixed component that can command sky-high prices regardless of the state the structure is in.
And Kanye’s house is located on Malibu Road which is, like Jason Oppenheim said, “one of the most desirable areas in the world.”
The entire area is lined with million-dollar houses, often priced well above the $10 million mark. And Malibu in itself is prohibitively expensive, with the median listing price for homes in the area standing at a hefty $6.5 million.
#2 Architectural pedigree
Many million-dollar homes often come with name-bragging rights — and Kanye’s house excels here.
But there’s a whole other level of name-dropping that comes with owning a home envisioned by one of our generation’s leading architects.
Tadao Ando is an award-winning contemporary architect best known for his minimalist concrete structures, which have attracted some of the world’s biggest stars, from Beyonce and Jay-Z — who paid $200 million to buy one of Ando’s Malibu projects, setting a new record for the most expensive home ever bought in Califonia — to West’s ex-wife, Kim Kardashian, who’s currently working with the architect to build a home on an undeveloped plot of land in La Quinta, California.
And Malibu’s architecturally distinct properties often command sky-high listing prices.
For proof, look no further than this $59M Ed Niles-designed house that combines glass, steel and Feng Shui principles or architect Harry Gesner’s former personal home, the $22.5M Sandcastle House in Malibu.
#3 Building costs
Beyond the design element, building the property on the beachfront lot was no easy feat.
Construction required 1,200 tons of concrete, 200 tons of steel reinforcement, and 12 pylons to keep it from sinking into the sand, a feat that undoubtedly required millions of dollars.
#4 Beach access & ocean views
The property has direct access to the beach and offers stunning views of the ocean.
It has three levels with the ensuite guest rooms on the lowest floor, the living room and kitchen on the middle floor, and the master bedroom and rooftop terrace on the topmost floor — all opening up to unobstructed ocean views, a luxury that commands a premium in any market.
Now, it remains to be seen whether Kanye’s listing price is realistic or not, and if his star power coupled with the highly desirable location and the house’s architectural pedigree will attract a buyer willing to pay top dollar for the Malibu pad.
Those of us who are hooked on Selling Sunset already know that Jason Oppenheim isn’t a fan of properties priced over the $50 million mark, so it’s unlikely that he would have taken on the listing if he thought the price was unrealistic.

We maintain our forecast for a modest economic contraction in the first half of 2024. Fundamentally, personal consumption remains at what we believe to be an unsustainable level relative to incomes, and the full effects of monetary policy tightening are still working through the economy. We have upgraded our 2023 real GDP growth outlook to 2.2 percent from 1.9 percent on a Q4/Q4 basis largely due to incoming July data, while our forecast for growth in 2024 is unchanged. Meanwhile, we forecast the topline and core measures of the Consumer Price Index (CPI) to end the year around 3.1 percent and 4.0 percent in 2023, respectively, slowing further in 2024 to 2.4 percent and 2.5 percent.
With the jump in mortgage rates to above 7 percent, the housing market faces renewed headwinds. Mortgage origination activity has slowed further in recent weeks and total home sales remain at levels not seen since 2011. The new home market, which showed surprising strength over the first half of 2023, due in part to a limited inventory of existing homes for sale, may now be taking a breather. We forecast total home sales to be around 4.8 million in 2023, which would be the slowest annual pace since 2011 and 4.9 million in 2024. Similarly, our expectation for 2023 mortgage originations was downgraded from $1.60 trillion to $1.56 trillion in 2023 and from $1.92 trillion to $1.88 trillion in 2024.
Q3 GDP Growth Poised to Accelerate, but Strength is Likely Temporary The third quarter started off on a strong note, with real personal consumption jumping 0.6 percent month over month in July, pointing to a stronger Q3 2023 GDP growth figure than previously anticipated. Even if personal consumption expenditures were to remain flat over the next two months, July’s growth alone would translate into a pace of personal consumption over the quarter of around 3.8 percent annualized. However, this surge in spending is likely unsustainable and our outlook is for decelerating activity. We believe much of the July consumption was the result of pulling forward future spending in part due to a combination of the release of popular movies and concerts as well as an increase in spending on energy during the July heat waves, and perhaps due to seasonal timing related to online retailer sales. Both recent credit card transaction data and auto sales data point to a likely pullback in consumption in August, with auto sales falling 4.6 percent month over month. August nominal retail sales jumped by 0.6 percent, but this was almost entirely due to price increases in gasoline. Control group retail sales, which feed into the GDP report, rose by only 0.1 percent in nominal terms, suggesting flat or slightly declining real sales. Furthermore, the 0.6 percent pop in real consumption in July came despite a decline of 0.2 percent in real disposable income, increasing the divergence between the two series. Recent spending growth has come via a further reduction in the already below-trend personal saving rate to 3.5 percent in July. This was down from 4.3 percent in June and around an average of 8.0 percent from 2017 to 2019. Especially when accounting for an expected deceleration in wage growth, we expect more modest consumer spending growth in coming quarters.
Refinance Application-Level Index (RALI), remains depressed given that mortgage rates remain above the 7 percent level.

In the wake of the bombshell story, NAR and its executives claimed to have no knowledge of widespread misconduct, with NAR CEO Bob Goldberg telling the Times that he “would not characterize [sexual harassment at NAR] as a problem.”
In addition, in a NAR Magazine article from August 10, 2023, titled “NAR prioritizes a respectful workplace,” Goldberg is quoted as saying that the trade organization “consistently strives to improve our workplace for every employee, and we have a robust set of policies, protocols and training programs in place to help us maintain a positive, respectful working environment,” and that NAR prides itself “on following the best governance practices in place throughout our nation, and we remain focused on fostering a culture that encourages our people to be heard and come forward if needed.”
The Polsinelli letter
However, a letter from Denise Drake, an attorney at Polsinelli Law Firm to Goldberg from July 14, 2023, obtained by Inman News, casts doubt on NAR’s timeline and commitment to cleaning up a toxic culture.
The letter reveals that NAR initiated an investigation into the behavior of NAR staffers and executives. Polsinelli looked into allegations of misbehavior in 2022 and the claims raised by Brevard in her suit. Drake wrote that Polsinelli found evidence in 2022 that the organization’s “highest leaders” engaged in “disrespectful” and “creepy” behavior. Drake’s letter was sent two weeks after the Brevard suit was filed and a week after she voluntarily withdrew the case.
The letter, which was published by Inman, appears to confirm that Polsinelli found evidence of past misbehavior among multiple leaders, despite NAR leaders making repeated statements downplaying any such problems at the organization.
“As you know,” Drake wrote in the letter, “I found some issues raised last year were true. Those issues ranged from NAR’s highest leaders being disrespectful, or lying about staff or members, to leaders being racially insensitive or engaging in sexual or ‘creepy’ communications or actions. Again, both female and male leaders were identified as having been involved in some of the allegations I found valid.”
Drake does not disclose the leaders who were involved or the allegations that she deemed “valid.”
However, in the letter, Drake states that based on her investigation, the allegations in the Brevard lawsuit were not true. She also claims that if the suit had continued, NAR would have been able to file legal documents that “cast a different light on the allegations.” Additionally, Drake notes that Brevard’s claim that three other women made complaints about Parcell’s behavior were inaccurate, stating that “both the number of women and the issues were false.”
Since the letter was sent to Goldberg, more than two dozen other women have come forward with allegations of misconduct.
According to the letter, NAR tried to support Parcell, with Drake writing that she exchanged counsel emails with NAR’s legal executives “strategizing ways to support Mr. Parcell, not just NAR,” as she and NAR’s legal team worked to ensure “that we came up with creative ideas in support of NAR and Mr. Parcell, well beyond what other organizations or companies typically allow.”
Parcell maintained in his resignation letter that the allegations against him were “categorically false.”
According to the letter, Drake believed that the Brevard lawsuit and the allegations it made against NAR and Parcell would be short lived.
“Unless you have leaders gossiping,” Drake said in the letter, “stirring up problems, or allowing others to gossip and stir up problems, this issue should go away quickly for NAR and Mr. Parcell.”
In the letter, Drake also praised Goldberg and NAR for implementing new policies and procedures to combat harassment and she states that NAR took “disciplinary or other action with specific individuals.” Drake did not name the individuals who were disciplined.
NAR not giving up on Goldberg
In the wake of the scandal, NAR has thrown its support behind Goldberg. In a statement dated September 1, 2023, confirming that a rumored emergency meeting had in fact taken place earlier in the week, Kasper wrote: “The consensus among the Executive Committee is we need to rebuild trust with staff and members with meaningful change. The Executive Committee agreed we have a shared purpose and are united in support of our staff and that includes Bob.”
Goldberg is currently set to retire at the end of 2024, closing out his 30-year career at the trade group.
In a video message on Thursday, Kasper reiterated that NAR acknowledges that it must rebuild trust between itself and its members and staff.
“It’s upsetting to hear that some members and staff have not felt safe or respected and I want you to know that I hear you,” Kasper said.
Kasper, a Boise, Idaho-based agent who’s been in the group’s leadership circle for years, said NAR would “do and be better” in the future, noting that NAR is “going to engage outside experts to assess the way reports of misconduct are investigated and resolved.”
She also told members that NAR is going to evaluate how leaders are selected, as well as how they interact with staff. Kasper, however, did not discuss findings from past investigations into misconduct and states that NAR has only recently launched investigations due to “recent reports” of sexual harassment, which appears to contradict what Drake wrote in her letter.
The NAR Accountability Project
For many industry professionals, NAR’s response to this scandal has been far from adequate. On the Monday after the publication of the Times exposé, Jason Haber, Compass agent from Manhattan, started a Change.org petition calling for Parcell’s dismissal. By Wednesday, this effort had morphed into the NAR Accountability Project.
Last Saturday, a week after the Times’ story ran, Haber created another petition calling for the resignation Bob Goldberg and other NAR executives.
In a statement on Change.org outlining the NAR Accountability Project’s four point plan, Haber wrote, “As a member of this coalition and someone who has closely followed the revelations about NAR’s workplace culture, I am deeply disturbed about what has been revealed. It is disheartening to see an institution that should be promoting professionalism and integrity in real estate instead perpetuating an environment where women feel unsafe. It is time for use to take action. We cannot stand idly by while countless individuals suffer from these injustices. We must demand accountability from NAR’s leadership and push for immediate changes that will protect their employees’ well-being while restoring the association’s good name.”
In addition to the resignation or dismissal of Goldberg and others, the plan calls for all former employees and independent contractors to be released from non-trade secret NDAs, for NAR to retain an independent law firm to conduct “a sweeping and comprehensive internal investigation,” and for NAR to implement a third party HR reporting system.
The petition had over 300 signatures as of Friday afternoon.
Restoring trust
In an emailed statement to HousingWire, Kasper wrote that NAR acknowledges not enough has been done to restore members’ and staffers’ trust in the organization.
“The leaked memo was shared with NAR’s Executive Committee and Past Presidents right after the Janelle Brevard lawsuit was filed and subsequently withdrawn. At the time, we had been advised by outside counsel that the allegations against the sitting president, while disturbing and unprofessional, did not rise to the level of unlawful conduct and corrective action had been taken with him. It was also indicated that there had been no further reports of misconduct since that action,” she wrote.
“We are focused on making meaningful change with urgency and intent to create an environment that promotes accountability and transparency. We have engaged external culture experts to evaluate our existing policies and protocols and help our organization continue to improve and evolve. In everything we’re doing to move forward and address needed changes, I believe we are on the right path to do better in leadership decision-making and in listening to and supporting our members and staff,” she concluded.
We’re all guilty of being obsession with the seemingly perfect lives of celebrities. From expensive cars to luxurious homes and exotic vacations, we may find ourselves comparing our everyday lives to what these celebs are sharing on social media. It’s no wonder, then, why so many people put them up on a pedestal as though they’re achieving something extraordinary—when really, they were probably just in the right place at the right time.
1. Influencers
One user shared, “Pick an influencer, any influencer.”
Another user replied, “I work in tech support for an influencer marketing platform. I didn’t even know influencer marketing was a thing before this job. The insane amounts of money some of these influencers are paid are unreal. I read an email convo between a brand and an influencer who said she charges $9000 for sponsored posts.
“The brand didn’t end up partnering with her, but I checked her TikTok, and she has sh-tloads of sponsored posts! Like several a day sometimes! Her whole channel was painfully unfunny skits about parenting. It was a mindblowing revelation. Hell, even if you only have a thousand or so followers, you can get free stuff pretty easily as long as you post consistently and focus on a particular demographic.”
One user added, “They think they’re popular in the real world, and literally 99.9% of the world doesn’t know who they are.”

“Kardashian-Jenner crew,” shared one user.
Another user commented, “At least Bruce was an athlete. Edit: Why the f- am I being downvoted? Was he, not Bruce Jenner when he was an athlete? Yes. Is there an athlete called Caitlyn Jenner? No. Is any of them an athlete, or at least talented at something other than being cancerous polyps on the rectum of humanity? No. So my original statement holds true: At least Bruce was an athlete.”
One user replied, “Caitlyn herself has said that she doesn’t mind when people refer to her as Bruce when talking about her before her transition.”
3. DJ Khalid
One user commented, “So he’s definitely not overrated on Reddit. In fact, everyone on Reddit seems to (understandably) hate him, but outside of Reddit, DJ Khalid.”
Another user replied, “I got news for you; everyone outside of Reddit thinks DJ Khaled is a talentless doofus, too; it’s not just us.”
One Redditor commented, “It breaks my heart,… man, it f-ing breaks my heart, that there are people out there who don’t believe in us, man.”
4. James Corden
“James Corden. I scrolled through every reply to upvote it. Surprised no one mentioned him,” one user shared.
Aother user replied, “The only funny thing about him is how much England doesn’t want his entitled [self] back.”
Another Redditor replied, “England also has quite a niche sense of humour. His comedy is too Americanised, and he simply can’t compete with the excellent British comedians who’ve always been in touch with what Brits like. So not only do we not want him back for his entitled, arrogant behaviour, we just don’t find him funny either.”
5. Logan Paul
One user asked, “Is he still big? I keep thinking he isn’t, and then someone else mentions him. I swear, I had never even heard of the guy until the story of him mocking a guy who committed suicide… became big, and that was all I needed to know the guy was a jerk… no, something worse because ordinary jerks wouldn’t laugh and mock someone after finding their corpse and knowing they killed themselves… [Even] edgy trolls or comedy lovers to be like, ‘Holy crap, that’s too much for me!’ but nope, the guy keeps on going.”
“Apparently was redeeming himself until his cryptogams and now the Prime garbage,” another user responded.
6. Tik-Tok Influencers
“Anyone who got famous from TikTok. Being pretty isn’t a talent,” one commenter replied.
Another user commented, “Addison Rae and the D’amelio sisters.”
One Redditor added, “I’ve forgotten of their existence for a year until now.”
7. Jack Harlow
One Redditor shared, “Pretty sure Jack Harlow is an industry plant, and it’s giving me a headache trying to figure out how he got popular.”
One user replied, “He’s an industry baby.”
Another added, “Ripping off Fergie and being a generic-looking white dude will get all the gen z girls rolling for you, it seems.”
8. Young People With Famous Parents
“99.9999% of nepo babies, there are some talented ones for sure. Like Lily Rose Depp gotta be one of the [most terrible] actresses I’ve seen,” one user posted.
Another commenter reacted, “The only [nepo] baby that’s actually legit is Jamie Lee Curtis—she is very talented and classy. But yea, Lily-Rose Depp is terrible.”
One user shared, “Laura Dern may be the most talented of the [nepo] babies.”
Another Redditor inserted, “Jeff Bridges. Son of the late and great Lloyd Bridges.”
One user exclaimed, “Nice catch! Fantastic actor.”
9. Jared Leto
One user shared, “Jared Leto. Shitty actor, shittier musician, and a s-xual predator to boot.”
Another user added, “Keep your children away from Jared Leto.”
One user shared, “When I watched Dallas Buyers Club years ago, I couldn’t tell who that one character Rayon was played by until the credits. I was blown away by it, Jared Leto. Other than that, he has pooped out some stinkers of performances. Possibly the only guy that could turn in a terrible Joker performance. Kind of unbelievable that studios keep banking on him.”
10. Drake
One Redditor said, “Drake.”
Another user replied, “He makes me cringe.”
One user added, “Agree. His music has no seasoning. It just has this boring passive-aggressive vibe to it.”
11. Lily-Rose Depp
“Lily-Rose Depp. She is just awful,” one user posted.
Another Redditor added, “I haven’t seen her in anything, so I don’t know whether or not she has talent, but I know her new show with The Weeknd, The Idol, is getting critically backlash reviews with no mention on whether or not her acting saves the show.”
Another user replied, “You haven’t seen such gems as… Tusk? Yoga Hosers? Or heard of her fame for somehow being the only 5′ 3″ runway model? All of which are based purely on her blinding talent and have nothing to do with nepotism in Hollywood.”
12. Jojo Siwa
One user shared, “Jojo Siwa. God, she drives me f-ing nuts. She can’t sing or act… And the fact that she has to mention that she’s a lesbian every time she’s on tv is cringe.”
The user added, “I don’t personally care about her content. It’s when she goes on shows like That’s My Jam and has to bring up that she’s a lesbian. Maybe if she came across and more genuine, then she wouldn’t be so annoying.”
13. The Rock
One Redditor commented, “The Rock. I love him because I’m a long-time pro wrestling fan, but he’s insanely mediocre as an actor. He basically has the success he has because he’s marketed himself so well, though, and to some degree, I admire the hell out of it, but he was 100x the pro wrestler than he was an actor. Dude was legitimately so charismatic and hilarious on the mic and fun to watch in the ring.”
Another user replied, “Very mediocre actor, but a great guy.”
One replied, “I say this all the time. The Rock plays as The Rock in every role. He’s had a range of different roles, too but still just The Rock. I can never see him as the character he’s trying to portray because he is a mediocre actor.”
14. J Lo
One user pointed out, “J Lo. If I missed it, I apologize, but I scrolled and could not believe she wasn’t at the top: a horrible singer, an average professional dancer, a terrible actress, and messy personal issues. I don’t get it. That damn dress made her whole career. It was a great look; I’ll give her that but not a career’s worth.”
Another user added, “Her Spanish is pathetic for someone who claims to be Puerto Rican.”
15. Pete Davidson
One user commented, “Pete Davidson.”
Another user asked, “How are women attracted to him? A sense of humour only goes so far.”
One Redditor answered, “He’s got that, ‘I just need the right woman to fix me’ vibe.”
16. Joe Rogan
“Joe Rogan. I mean, how?!?!?!” exclaimed one user.
Another user added, “My brother is an English professor, and politically conservative, I might add, and he often uses Joe Rogan clips in his critical thinking class to show how deceptive semi-plausible logical fallacies can be when they are presented calmly and are not too flagrant or over-the-top.
“I forget which famous example he references most, but there’s one where he used 15 fallacies in less than two minutes. But once you’ve seen it, yeah, he just does the same thing over and over—chips away at something he doesn’t want to believe in that is backed by science/facts by presenting selective, bad-faith representations of the topic and then doesn’t actually make a strong case at all for his side.
“He just unethically casts doubt but makes it seem reasonable because he appears ‘skeptical.’ He’s not actually informed most of the time to raise legitimate objections. It’s the whole ‘prove to me ___________,’ like the burden of proof is on experts to refute his specific BS objections or else his uninformed opinion is just as valid as their knowledge. I’m amazed people don’t see through this.”
Another user added, “He legitimizes stupid positions for stupid people. The stupid people eat that sh-t up.”
17. Chris Pratt
One user added, “Chris Pratt. Not only did he voice the MC in the Lego movie, he then did Mario. Now he’s doing Garfield. There’s a reason voice acting is a separate profession from acting.”
One replied, “Very true, but we should also acknowledge that there are actors that can do both. Jack Black brings probably the penultimate example of that.”
18. Taylor Swift
“Taylor Swift. The amount of die-hard fans I know that have some kind of parasocial relationship with the idea of her is crazy,” one user posted.
Another user replied, “There is a Taylor Swift concert coming here soon. It’s been sold out for a while, and people are paying scalpers thousands of dollars just for bad seats. Linkin Park is my favourite band, and I’ve paid to see them in concert. But even if Chester Bennington rose from the dead and went on tour with LP again, I still wouldn’t pay that much for a freaking concert. That’s insanity.”
19. Timothée Chalamet
One user shared, “Timothée Chalamet.”
Another user replied, “The meme that he looks like an old medieval shoe always makes me crack up.”
One user commented, “Eh, I’m not attracted to him physically, but he’s a fantastic actor and seems to truly have a passion for his craft, at least to me, that’s the appeal, a love for his work.”
20. Harry Styles
One Redditor said, “Harry Styles. I can’t comment on him as a singer since I don’t know that I would recognize any of his songs, but people talk like he’s the next great actor, and I just don’t see it. He’s okay, I guess, but he’s no Deniro, Pacino, Nicholson, etc.”
Another user agreed, “Big time agree.”
One responded,” His music, at least the popular stuff, is pretty generic imo. I’ve heard some of his less known stuff is better, but most of his big songs sound like they’re specifically designed to play in the background of a big box retail store or annoying car commercial.”

1. Wishbone
One Redditor posted, “Wishbone.”
Another replied, “PBS programming back then was [seriously great]! Watching Wishbone gave me an upper hand in my classical lit course at university. Ghost Writer was also really good!”
One user asked, “Wait? Disney got the licensing for Wishbone?”
One user added, “It was. I was technically ‘too old’ to watch Wishbone (I was in HS when it aired), but I’d watch it when I babysat my brother (who is six years younger than I am), and it was so… adorable. I felt a weird sense of pride that it was filmed in Allen, which was just a short drive (maybe an hour?) from where I grew up in Ft. Worth.”
One replied, “Loved that little dog so much!”
A user said, “I am 51, so I wasn’t exactly a kid when this was on, but I can sing every word of the theme song and own a small Wishbone stuffy.”
2. Batman: The Animated Series
One user shared “Batman: The Animated Series.”
One replied, “Consequently, Superman TAS, The New Batman Adventures, Teen Titans, and Justice League & JL Unlimited. The 90s-2000s DC animation run is one for the ages.”
Another responded, “Justice League was hands down the greatest comic-to-screen adaptation ever.”
“JL Unlimited was outstanding,” one Redditor commented.
One user shared, “90s-2000s DC animation run was great, and those shows, including BTAS, remain my favorites ever since my dad placed them on when I was younger and when they aired on tv.”
Another user replied, “Batman TAS used to come on at 4:30 PM where I lived on weekdays. I can’t tell you how happy and warm it made me to watch that show. It was an escape from a very stressful home. I watched it when I was 4-6ish yo, probably, like in ’93-’94 or so maybe.”
“You’re me, but much younger. I would have been 15 to 16—very stressful home. Batman TAS was a godsend some days,” one user concluded.
3. Batman Beyond
One user added, “AND BATMAN BEYOND.”
Another Redditor added, “Won’t ever argue with someone about BAS being the better one overall, but holy crap, Batman Beyond is still incredibly amazing, and people overlook it so much in favor of BAS. In the very same vein, obviously, Mask of the Phantasm is the better movie overall, but I can never get over just how INSANELY amazing Return of the Joker is. Tim Drake sob/laughing is one of the most full-body goosebumps and heart-wrenching scenes in animated history. And the whole final fight against the Joker was 100% perfect. Joker was losing his cool at fighting a Batman with a Spiderman-style ‘mouth.’”
Another user replied, “Lol yeah, Terry is pretty chatty for a Batman. He got more Bruce Wayne-ish later in the series, but he was still quippy.”
“I did a complete rewatch of this series about a year ago, and except for a couple of episodes here and there, it absolutely holds up,” one user added.
4. Are you Afraid of the Dark?
One user commented online, “Are you afraid of the dark?”
Another user replied, “Ahh, I loved that show!!! Same with Goosebumps, lol.”
“The episode where the girl is writing ‘help’ on the wall backward scared me a lot as a kid. I still think the imagery was quite haunting for a kid’s show,” one user replied.
Another Redditor added, “Pick the right door, and you’ll go free. Pick the wrong door, and [he’ll] be………”
One user shared, “I can only remember the episode where the one dude attempted to flirt with girls but later is revealed to be a ghost that only his sister could see.”
5. Count Duckula
One user commented on the thread, “Probably showing my age here, but there was a show in the UK back in the early 90s called Count Duckula. As a kid, it was enjoyable, but some of the jokes went over my head. ‘Your cousin lives in Spain, m’Lord. He’s sure to give us a warm welcome.’ ‘Oh, he’s a friendly kind of guy?’ ‘No, m’Lord, he’s a pyromaniac.’
Another user replied, “This is the one where he’s a duck vampire but only eats vegetables?”
One user replied, “They used to show this at 5 AM on Saturday morning in America when I was a kid, I still remember the song. ‘From the halls of Transylvania / There’s no one more insane. / Dun dun dun da da da / DUCKULA’ Well, I kind of remember it.”
6. Duck Tales
One Redditor commented, “Duck Tales(1987).”
Another user exclaimed, “OoOooh!”
One commenter replied, “‘Racecars, lasers, aeroplanes.’”
Another added, “‘It’s a duck-blur!’”
One user replied, “I can hear it in my head, lmao.”
7. Looney Tunes
“Looney Tunes. I still laugh off watching them,” one user posted.
One replied, “They are where most people my age (69) first heard classical music. The Boston Symphony Orchestra used to run an instrument petting zoo every year, and they played Looney Tunes cartoons in Symphony Hall non-stop all day.”
Another user stated, “The Indianapolis Symphony did a performance of “Bugs Bunny on Broadway. They showed the cartoons on a movie screen while the Symphony played the soundtrack! It was SO much fun.”
One user added, “My favorite all-time bugs bunny line is right after he finishes destroying a man’s bagpipes thinking they were the Loch Ness monster. ‘Well, he put up a good fight. But clean livin’ prevailed.’”
8. The Muppets
One user commented, “The Muppet Show and Fraggle Rock.”
Another user replied, “The Muppets aren’t for kids. They’re for everybody.”
“Fraggle Rock was on HBO, wasn’t it? It was forbidden to all those who didn’t have a rich friend,” one commenter replied.
Another user commented, “LOVED the Muppet show! Statler and Waldorf were the bombs! Saturday morning cartoons were Hong Kong Phooey.”
One Redditor added, “The Swedish Chef herdy gurd gurd herdy bork bork!”
“And Dr. Bunsen Honeydew and Beaker MEEP MEEP MEEP MEEP…. we could do this all day because the whole show and all the characters are awesome!” another user said.
9. Gargoyles
One user shared, “Gargoyles.”
A user replied, “Did a rewatch when Disney+ started up. Very rewarding.”
One added, “Up until the boat episodes…it became such a slog around then.”
One user also added, “‘Avalon doesn’t take you where you want to go, AVALON SENDS YOU WHERE YOU NEED TO BE!’ Ugh that entire bit, like 20 [whole] episodes, is nothing but filler.”
10. Animaniacs
One Redditor posted, “‘Wheel of morality turn turn turn tells us the lesson we must learn.’”
Another replied, “‘If at first, you don’t succeed, blame it on your parents’ even as an adult that makes me giggle. Edit: and winning the trip to Tahiti.”
One commenter added, “‘Lake Titicaca, oh lake Titicaca, it’s between Bolivia and Peru. Lake Titicaca, yes lake Titicaca, with waters tranquil and blue. Lake Titicaca, oh lake Titicaca, why do we sing of its fame? Lake Titicaca, yes lake Titicaca: ’cause we really like saying it’s name! Titicaca!’”
11. The Magic School Bus
One user shared, “The Magic School Bus!”
Another added, “‘I knew I should have stayed home today!!’”
Another user replied, “‘With the Frizz??’”
One commenter exclaimed, “‘NO WAY! aaaaaaaAAAAAAA’.”
Another replied, “‘Cruising [on] down Main Street.’”
12. Teen Titans
One user shared, “Teen Titans.”
Another user replied, “The old one, not the new overly cartooned characters.”
Another responded, “I do believe that one’s called ‘Teen Titans Go’.”
One user commented, “I think I’m the only person who likes the original and Go.”
Another added, “Honestly, I like it too. It has its own charm. I just see them as alternate universe versions of the first show characters.”
One also commented, “They’re both great, for different reasons. The original for the stories and action. Go! For the comedy.”
Another user shared, “Just introduced my son to this. He was addicted to Teen Titans Go but now prefers this and wants to know why it changed lol.”
13. Recess
One user posted, “Recess.”
Another user replied, “The episode about stickers was making fun NFTs long before they were even a thing.”
One person responded, “That episode whomps.”
One user added, “This is literally the only show on TV at my house ever since it went up on Disney plus, it’s the best show in terms of nostalgia for me, but I believe no other show quite captures the mind of children better than it. All the rumours, the secrets, the relatable boredom, takes me back to my childhood with each episode!”
Another person stated, “I watched this as an adult and loved it. I’m constantly looking for the Ashleys in my workplaces, lol.”
14. Hey Arnold
One user commented, “Hey Arnold.”
Another poster wrote, “Watching it as an adult… it’s bittersweet because I watched it all the time as a kid but, man they really have some ‘hidden gems’ in there kid. I definitely didn’t understand.”
One commenter added, “The episode where the popular cool girl goes home and her dad is crying about eating their last can of soup is forever in my brain. And the episode where he teaches one of his adult neighbors to read. ‘LOOK I am petting the kitty!’”
Another replied, “Far too many real, legit situations in that show that were just casually thrown around and us kids just thought it was hilarious. I need to watch the show again at my own risk. I feel incredibly sad for Helga now that I’m older.”
15. Rocko’s Modern Life
One user shared “Rocko’s Modern Life.”
Another added, “I loved this show as a kid. As an adult, my thoughts are, this show is really weird and I can’t believe I watched it as a kid. I still love it lol. Similar to Ren and Stimpy.”
One Redditor responded, “Yes! This is my pick as well! It gets even better as an adult with all the innuendos!”
Another exclaimed, “‘Oh baby oh baby oh baby.’”
One user responded, “‘Rocko?!?!’”
