As the latest season of the hit reality competition series “The Circle” hit our screens, we couldn’t help but notice that something looks a little bit different.
And no, we’re not talking about the new AI bot that has entered the chat (sorry, Max).
The reality show has a brand new building, a whole new series of colorful apartments, and a fresh filming location set on American soil — stepping away from the UK filming location where all international versions of the dating series have been filmed up until now.
Season 6 sees contenders take residence in a Midtown Atlanta apartment building, with each of their units meticulously designed by art director Karen Weber, a reality series vet who also worked on America’s Next Top Model.
And she took extra care in designing each apartment, as well as the communal spaces the contestants get to enjoy while filming the Netflix production.
So let’s take a closer look at the Atlanta building that now houses the popular series, the colorful The Circle apartments and the design principles that brought them to life, and how you too can book a stay here — though your apartment might look a tad different than those the contestants live in.

The Circle building is now the Sonder Midtown South, in Atlanta
Unlike previous seasons and all other international versions of the series — which all filmed in Northern England, at the 206-unit Adelphi Wharf building in Salford, UK, right outside of Manchester — Season 6 takes place stateside in Atlanta, Georgia.
Offering a fresh setting for the drama to unfold, the Sonder Midtown South apartment building at 126 Renaissance Pkwy NE in Midtown Atlanta serves as the main filming location for the hit Netflix series.
Designing the colorful apartments
Art director Karen Weber led the charge in designing the vibrant new apartments, housed in the Sonder Midtown South building.
With communal spaces like a retro launderette and a rooftop courtyard, Weber aimed to create distinct yet cohesive living environments for the players, each measuring approximately 1,200 square feet.
And this was no easy feat, especially while trying to emulate the bold, colorful aesthetics the series is already known for.
Each apartment has its own theme and decor
From bold color palettes to whimsical themes inspired by Barbie and Wes Anderson, the transformed spaces offer a Pinterest-worthy aesthetic that’s sure to catch the eye of viewers.
The apartments, given names like Glamour Room and Artist Loft, were curated with furniture and decor sourced from vintage shops and salvage yards around Atlanta, lending them a bespoke feel.
For some spaces, art director Karen Weber aimed to create “really bright high energy,” while other rooms were meant to feel “more adult, laid-back, and [a] little more restful,” she shared on Netflix’s blog. After all, the players actually had to live in the spaces throughout filming, so comfort is key.
And while the budget was the same for each apartment in the new The Circle building, creating a variety of spaces and aesthetics is paramount to the show’s success.
“Giving producers that kind of a range [of types of spaces] lets them figure out who fits where,” Weber added.
Design inspiration for fans of the series
But in Weber’s eyes, the apartments aren’t just for the players who inhabit them.
She also wanted viewers watching along to imagine themselves in the living spaces and perhaps inspire them to transform their own — either by stenciling something on a wall or spray-painting fish scales on a bathroom cabinet.
“I try to do a couple of DIY projects in each space that could be done by someone at home,” she says.
Re-designing 10 more apartments for the next contestants
As if Weber didn’t have her work cut out for her, as soon as she was done setting up the apartments for Season 6, she had to do it all again in preparation for the already-announced Season 7. For the upcoming season, another 10 new apartments had to be designed from the ground up.
“It’s the sandcastle theory, because you build this beautiful thing and then you let it all just get washed away and it’s done,” she says. “The rooms have their moment and then you have to move on.”
You can stay at the Atlanta building where The Circle filmed
While fans won’t be able to book a stay in the exact apartments seen on-screen, they too can book a stay in the building featured on the show whenever visiting Atlanta.
The Sonder Midtown South offers sleek and modern accommodations with amenities like a fitness center, outdoor grill, and in-unit laundry. And its colorful, imaginative makeover for The Circle only adds to the building’s appeal.

In the private mountainside community of Ascaya, located in Henderson, NV, a new residential project called The Canyon at Ascaya aims to set a new standard for luxury living.
The Canyon will be just 20 minutes from the Las Vegas Strip, offering a serene retreat near the city’s vibrant culture, adding to a growing number of options for luxury homebuyers looking to settle down in Sin City.
And there’s no shortage of wealthy buyers scooping up properties in (and around) the city.
Las Vegas is increasingly becoming a hotspot for luxury home buyers, including celebrities seeking privacy and exclusive amenities away from the public eye. Celine Dion sold a house here for $30 million last year, setting a new local real estate record and making a killer profit in the process.
Actor Mark Wahlberg bought himself a $14.5 million bungalow in The Summit Club (which he has since sold) while waiting for his mansion to be built on a separate 2.5-acre lot in the same community, which he purchased for $15.6 million. But the newest enclave isn’t necessarily targeting high rollers.
The Canyon at Ascaya will offer architecturally significant homes designed by acclaimed Nevada-based firm, Blue Heron, known for its integrated architectural, interior design, and construction services.
Sales are set to launch this spring, with potential buyers encouraged to register online for more details. But we’re here to give you a sneak peek inside the modern desert abodes.
Architectural excellence
Each home in The Canyon will be crafted to be a work of art, featuring a modern desert design that maximizes views and privacy.
These residences are strategically positioned across elevated terraces to enhance the connection between indoor and outdoor spaces. Large glass doors and expansive windows are designed to bring in natural light and offer residents unobstructed views of the surrounding desert canyon landscape.
The residences
The homes will range in size from 3,391 to 4,407 square feet, with configurations that include three and four bedrooms. The design emphasis is on creating spaces that are both aesthetically pleasing and functionally sophisticated.
The residences boast dual primary suites, spacious great rooms, and a layout that promotes seamless flow from indoor to outdoor living areas.

Lifestyle and wellness
Beyond the stunning architecture, The Canyon promotes a lifestyle enriched with wellness and relaxation. The community features landscaped communal areas with pools, spas, and outdoor kitchens. Additionally, private wellness parks with yoga decks and meditation spaces offer residents opportunities for personal health and tranquility.
“Our architectural philosophy is rooted in the belief that a home should be a sanctuary, and at The Canyon, we’ve created sanctuaries that celebrate the distinct canvas of the desert landscape,” shares Chris Beucler, President of Blue Heron. “In every detail of The Canyon homes, you’ll find a commitment to excellence, sustainability, and design that enhances the human experience. This is modern desert living reimagined.”
Community and amenities
Residents of the new enclave will have access to the extensive amenities of the Ascaya community, in addition to the exclusive amenities within The Canyon.
This includes a 23,000-square-foot clubhouse, a 50-meter pool with private cabanas overlooking the Las Vegas Strip, and a sports pavilion offering tennis and pickleball, and a two-acre Family Park, complementing the serene living environment and providing a balanced lifestyle of leisure and activity.
Connection to Las Vegas
Located just 20 minutes from the Las Vegas Strip, The Canyon at Ascaya will offer a retreat from the bustling city life while still providing convenient access to its vibrant cultural and entertainment offerings. This balance will make The Canyon an attractive option for those seeking a peaceful home environment with the excitement of Las Vegas readily accessible.

Market position and sales
With a starting price of $2,900,000, The Canyon homes are positioned as a premium offering in the luxury sector of the Las Vegas real estate market. A public sales launch is scheduled for this spring, and prospective buyers can now register online to receive more information.
Lock-and-leave lifestyle
The community was designed as a lock-and-leave community — meant to be as low maintenance for the homeowners as possible, allowing them to lock the front door and be on their way to their next adventure.
“The Canyon at Ascaya represents a defining moment for lock-and-leave, resort-style living in Las Vegas,” said Sam Brown, Development lead for Ascaya. “Our vision for The Canyon at Ascaya is to craft a one-of-one community that embodies both the serenity of desert living and the convenience of modern luxury. We believe we’ve achieved that balance perfectly.”
Adding to Ascaya’s already impressive offering
Ascaya is a luxury community carved into the mountainside of the McCullough Range. It offers unparalleled views of the Las Vegas Valley and a commitment to architectural excellence that defines its collection of contemporary desert architectural homes. Each residence within Ascaya is unique, yet the community represents a cohesive expression of desert contemporary living.
Adding to the offering, The Canyon at Ascaya project extends Ascaya’s vision of delivering a luxury living experience that is both distinctive and harmonious with the desert landscape. For those seeking a modern, luxurious home in Las Vegas, The Canyon will be a compelling new option.

Call it the Yellowstone effect, but ranch living is definitely having a moment.
In recent years, countless homebuyers seeking a blend of luxury, privacy, and a closer connection to nature have opted for rural properties that offer more bang for your buck — and a tranquil lifestyle that promises less fuss and more rewards.
This trend has not gone unnoticed in the celebrity world, with notable figures like Donald Glover, Kelis, and even Calvin Harris (who ventured as far as Ibiza to secure a 183-acre farm) embracing the ranch lifestyle.
And now, there’s a new option on the market for prospective buyers seeking to own a piece of rural California.
The Green Acre Ranch — a nearly 20-acre property in Somis, California with mini-horse stables and over 1,500 income-producing fruit trees — has just been listed for $7.35 million, presenting a unique blend of luxury ranch living and lucrative agricultural potential.
Rochelle Maize and Myra Nourmand of Nourmand & Associates hold the listing, and they’ve given us all the deets on this unique opportunity.

An income-producing ranch
Located conveniently an hour’s drive from Los Angeles and a stone’s throw from the charming towns of Camarillo and Moorpark, the Green Acre Ranch offers a perfect retreat for those wanting proximity to the city while enjoying the tranquility of the countryside.
The property spans 20 acres and is adorned with 1,500 matured avocado, pomegranate, and lemon trees, which have historically turned a profit, generating $72k and $84.5k in revenue in 2023 and 2022, respectively.
The estate boasts an array of features designed to cater to the luxury-minded homeowner with a penchant for outdoor living.
From a long gated driveway lined with roses to a swimming pool and a large pond that mirror the property’s serene setting, each detail has been curated to enhance the ranch’s natural beauty and its panoramic views of the valley.
The sprawling property has a charming, Mediterranean-style home that allows guests and residents to soak in the picturesque canyon views from nearly every room of the house.
“The estate is set away from the street, which gives the homeowner ultimate privacy,” listing agent Myra Nourmand tells us.

Inside the 5-bedroom home
Featuring 5 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, an inviting eat-in kitchen, and a showstopping Spanish-tiled staircase, the interiors draw you in as much as the idyllic surroundings.
Built in 2008, the house features tile, wood, and stone flooring with two fireplaces adding to the coziness of the home. And the rooms are as grand and impressive as the rest of the property.
The heart of the home
The great room stands out as the property’s crown jewel, providing breathtaking views of the expansive yard and the canyon beyond.
As Myra Nourmand highlights, the ranch offers vistas on par with those found in Italy, creating a scenic backdrop that could rival scenes from “The Sound of Music.”
“The Green Acre Ranch’s views are truly magnificent,” agent Myra Nourmand tells us. “I’ve traveled extensively across Europe and can say that this property is on par with the views found in Italy. As you walk through the property’s French doors, it’s like you’re in “The Sound of Music” with these stunning views of the hills and canyon.”
A rich historical tapestry
The Green Acre Ranch carries a storied past with Hollywood connections, having been a preferred gathering spot for musicians at the behest of previous owner Mary Hollander.
Mary Hollander directed and produced for the Sagamore Players, a local theater troupe, often staging shows in her home. Her husband, Max Hollander, was a violinist in the early 1940s and he was an associate concertmaster for the NBC Symphony Orchestra led by Toscanini.
According to our sources, Hollander used to have parties at the property where all these Hollywood musicians would come up on the first Sunday of the month. The ranch’s Hollywood legacy, coupled with its robust agricultural potential, makes it a property with both charm and investment value.
It has an orchard with 1,500 fruit trees
Rochelle Maize emphasizes the ranch’s vast outdoor amenities, including an 11-stall horse stable, a luxurious BBQ pavilion, and the possibility to add more facilities such as sports courts or additional animal shelters.
The property also boasts an orchard of 1,500 fruit trees, including avocado, orange, lemon, guava, grapefruit, pomegranate, and more, offering a trove of California produce just moments away. With this much land, prospective buyers can cultivate a vineyard, build sports facilities like a pickleball court, or construct more animal shelters and barns for pigs, ducks, or goats. All animals are welcome!
The property’s orchard not only enhances its appeal but also offers a sustainable living option by allowing homeowners to cultivate a variety of fruits.

Stables for mini-horses
Possibly the most charming amenity is reserved for the equestrian enthusiast, as the property can easily be turned into a miniature horse farm.
An 11-stall miniature horse stable stands ready to accommodate small equine companions, with the flexibility to convert for full-size horses.
There’s even a private pond
In line with the whole “trading the city life for quiet ranch living”, this particular luxury listing comes with both the traditional pool AND a cute little pond.
The tranquil private pond adds a touch of whimsy to the landscape, offering a serene backdrop for entertainment and relaxation.

Located in Somis, California
“Somis is conveniently located just an hour’s drive from Los Angeles, making it ideal for someone who seeks a quiet and relaxing retreat but still wants to be close to city life,” listing agent Rochelle Maize says in an exclusive quote for Fancy Pants Homes.
“Situated amidst the charming towns of Camarillo and Moorpark each just a short 15–20-minute drive away, residents and visitors alike can enjoy outlet malls, scenic hiking trails, and country club golf courses. The town of Somis itself is ripe with neighboring farms and nurseries that provide fresh local fruits, vibrant flowers, and delicious nuts, adding to the area’s idyllic rural charm.”
A multifaceted opportunity
Beyond its enchanting living spaces and outdoor amenities, the ranch serves as a fully functional farm.
The previous owner leveraged the orchard’s produce to create a line of kitchen and bath products, from gourmet balsamic vinegar, including fig and pomegranate flavors, to avocado soaps, body scrubs, and body lotions, showcasing the estate’s versatility and entrepreneurial potential.
The Green Acre Ranch is more than just a home; it’s a lifestyle choice for those seeking privacy, luxury, and the opportunity to live off the land, all within reach of Los Angeles.
As the trend towards ranch living grows among celebrities and luxury homebuyers alike, this listing represents a rare chance to own a piece of California’s coveted rural lifestyle.

Work doesn’t take a break when the cameras stop rolling.
Fresh off the heels of a hit new season of “Buying Beverly Hills“, the real estate power team at The Agency is bringing another showstopping property to the market, one with architectural pedigree, plenty of acreage, and a long history of celebrity owners — and guests.
Set in La Quinta, Calif., the estate once owned by game show legend Merv Griffin hit the market last week for a staggering $36 million, with The Agency’s Zac Goldsmith and Mauricio Umansky holding the listing.
This sprawling 39-acre property, nestled in the heart of California’s desert landscape, features a luxurious 5,409-square-foot main residence, a total of 13 bedrooms, 12 bathrooms, and several additional structures including guest pods (with vacation rental potential) and a gatehouse.
Renowned for its unique blend of Moroccan elegance and modern California style, the former Merv Griffin estate has been a sought-after party destination during the Coachella music festival, hosting celebrities like Post Malone, Katy Perry, and Jack Harlow.
And it boasts dazzling interiors inspired by Yves St. Laurent’s Marrakesh home. So let’s take a quick tour of this legendary celebrity home — before a buyer takes it off the market.
The estate’s grandeur
Spread across an extra generous 39 acres in the heart of La Quinta — a desert resort city in Riverside County, Calif. rightfully dubbed “the Gem of the Desert” — the property consists of seven different structures including a majestic 5,409-square-foot main residence.
Beyond its 13 bedrooms and 12 bathrooms, the former Merv Griffin estate has everything from a private lake to an orchard, equestrian facilities, and even comes with its own water supply.

The main house
The main house alone is a sight to behold, flanked by four cozy 500-square-foot pods, a West Building, and a gatehouse, all enveloped in lush landscapes against a mountainous backdrop.
Moroccan-inspired architecture
The estate’s architecture is a love letter to Moroccan elegance, seamlessly fused with modern Californian flair. Its grandeur is matched by its design, which includes intricate chandeliers, hand-placed mosaic tiles, and circular guesthouses that add a unique touch to its layout.

Designer interiors
The interiors, masterfully put together by renowned Los Angeles interior designer Waldo Fernandez, speak volumes of luxury and style. Taking inspiration from Yves St. Laurent’s iconic Marrakesh home, each room tells a story, blending Moroccan charm with a modern twist that’s as enchanting as it is welcoming.
Guest pods oozing charm
While there’s plenty to love about this idyllic desert escape, it’s the four guest pods that won us over. The charming little guest houses — which have solid vacation rental potential and have been listed on popular rental platforms alongside other structures on the property — each contain one queen-sized bed, an ensuite bathrooms with shower/bathtub combos, a gas fireplace, TV, and private entrances.
Outdoor amenities include a lake and orchards
Stepping outside, a whole series of outdoor amenities add to the appeal of the property. And they go beyond your regular pool and spa, found in most celebrity homes.
The 39-acre estate has a roughly 2.5-acre man-made lake, Lake Merveilleux, home to thriving populations of koi, bass, and turtles, an equestrian facility, and lush orchards of oranges, grapefruits, lemons, limes, pomegranates, and guavas — along with the iconic King Fig Tree, one of the largest in the Coachella Valley.
Post-Griffin era
After Merv Griffin passed away in 2007, the estate found its new owner in real estate investor Mark Majerovic, who bought it for a cool $7 million in 2013. Majerovic turned the estate into a sought-after venue for high-end vacation rentals, events, and, of course, unforgettable parties.
The ultimate party destination
Under Majerovic’s ownership, the estate embraced its new identity as party central, opening its doors to thousands of party-goers looking to experience the glitz and glamour of Hollywood in the heart of the desert.
A celeb hotspot during Coachella
A-listers like Post Malone, Katy Perry, and Jack Harlow, among others, have stayed here during the Coachella music festival, with the house playing host to a veritable who’s who of Hollywood and continuing its legacy as a landmark of high-profile entertainment.

Home to a TV legend
Built by the late TV host in the 1980s, the property then became Merv Griffin’s longtime home. Griffin, most famous for hosting his talk show, The Merv Griffin Show, was a multifaceted American entertainment mogul best known for his work as a television host and the creator of two of the most famous game shows in American television history: Jeopardy! and Wheel of Fortune.
Beyond his on-screen presence, Griffin was also a successful businessman, with ventures extending into real estate and the hotel industry. And he made quite the profit from his La Quinta property, as the estate was far larger during his ownership.
The estate once spanned 240 acres
Originally spanning over 240 acres, the estate was pared down when Griffin sold off 200 acres for the Griffin Ranch community. Yet, the essence of the estate’s grandeur remains, with its 39-acre heart still beating strong.
Now listed for $36 million
After over a decade of work on the property, real estate investor Mark Majerovic is bringing the former Merv Griffin estate to market. Enlisting the help of top industry pros Zac Goldsmith and Mauricio Umansky (The Agency), the iconic La Quinta property is now on the market for $36 million, offering a rare opportunity to own a piece of luxury and entertainment history in the heart of California’s desert landscape.

RICHLAND TWP., Pa. – Phillies, Eagles, Flyers and 76ers fans have a new spot to score jerseys, hats and other gear in upper Bucks County.
Rally House, a specialty sports store chain offering an expansive selection of apparel, gifts, home decor and other types of merchandise representing local NCAA, NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL and MLS teams, opened its newest location last week at 244 N. West End Blvd. in Richland Township.
The new store fills the space previously occupied by Tuesday Morning, a home goods retailer, in the Trainer’s Corner shopping center, just outside Quakertown.
Rally House Trainers Corner, located between Petco and Harbor Freight, is the company’s 15th store in the Philadelphia region and first location in the Quakertown area.
“Fans have been coming by all week and couldn’t wait to see us open!” said Ashley Bear, Rally House’s district manager, in a news release. “Once we opened, customers were in awe right when they stepped in about the size of the store and selection of product and teams to shop.”
Rally House traces its origins to 1989, when Tim and Mabel “Peg” Liebert started “Mabel’s Kitchen,” a catalog featuring Kansas-related apparel, gifts and other merchandise.
Mabel’s Kitchen evolved into another business, “Kansas Sampler,” which featured five Kansas City area stores selling Kansas Jayhawks, Kansas State Wildcats, Kansas City Chiefs and Kansas City Royals gear.
The company experienced great success, and the Lieberts eventually decided to expand the business to other markets under the “Rally House” name in 2008, according to a company description.
Today, the Kansas-based Rally House has more than 190 locations across 18 states.
The new Quakertown area store supplements more than a dozen other regional locations, including a Lehigh Valley shop in Lower Macungie Township, two other Bucks County stores and several locations in Montgomery County.
Rally House stays true to its roots by providing “an impeccable selection of local and team-related apparel and gifts, including exclusive designs available only at Rally House,” according to the company’s website.
Regional stores offer a wide array of merchandise, including clothing, blankets, glassware and signs, featuring logos and designs of local NCAA, NFL, MLB, NBA, NHL, and MLS teams in addition to locally inspired apparel, gifts and food.
“Customer satisfaction is a top priority for Rally House Trainers Corner, so this location carries only the best brands available, including big names such as ’47, Antigua, New Era, Nike, and Tommy Bahama,” the news release states.
“Fans will also appreciate the vast selection of teams in stock, like the Philadelphia Phillies, Flyers, 76ers, Union, and Eagles, as well as area college teams with Penn State, Temple, Villanova, and more.
Customers can browse apparel such as T-shirts, sweatshirts, coats and shorts, along with footwear and fashion accessories such as slippers, hats, scarves and jewelry.
A wide variety of other gifts and home decor include items such as glassware, coasters, stickers, magnets, wall plaques, license plate frames, plush toys, socks and baby items.
No two Rally House stores are identical.
“They each carry merchandise customized and tailored to the specific collegiate and professional teams in that area,” a message on the company’s website reads.
“In additional to team apparel, Rally House offers a wide selection of local styles. This includes our very own exclusive line of RALLY Brand™ merchandise. The same items we have in our stores can also be found online at any time. We want to make things as easy and seamless as possible for fans who want to show their unique team spirit, regardless of wherever they live or shop.”
In addition to selling items relating to local sports teams, Rally House also works in conjunction with local sports stars and celebrities. These partnerships manifest themselves in the form of ticket giveaways, autograph sessions, radio remote contests and meet-and-greet events.
The Rally House Trainers Corner store is open 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sundays.

MILAN — When Chef Eric Adjepong discussed the building blocks of his first home collection, he slipped and said he used Ghanaian ingredients to make his first home goods collection with Crate & Barrel.
“I meant materials — Ghanaian materials,” he exclaimed a second afterward.
Indeed, switching hats from the head of the kitchen to the head of design was a big change, but a welcome one. “I like the idea that these items can last forever,” as opposed to his eclectic dishes that last seconds on the palate, he said.
The 36-year-old chef and host of Food Network’s “Wildcard Kitchen”decided to return to his parents’ homeland to build this collection. “It was more than a homecoming — it was a discovery,” the first generation Ghanaian American said.

Upon arrival in the village of Bolgatanga, he was greeted by a mini parade with music, dance and food. It was there where he came into contact with the region’s basket weavers, who showed him the entire process of Bolga basket weaving.
Bolgatanga, which is situated in northern Ghana, is a heartland of genuine Bolga baskets, which are exclusively woven by the Indigenous Gurune or Frafra people. Weavers collect beta vera straw, which is subtracted from the top of the grass, and they then leave the roots to grow.
Other products in this vibrant collection were inspired by the Ashanti Empire, which was founded in 1670 and impacted much of the modern culture of the dynamic region.
With more than 60 pieces of cookware, glassware, serveware and decor, the collection includes a Ghanaian-made market tote; the Didi Ketoa appetizer plates inspired by West African bead work; the Sobolo glass punch bowl with a green marble base, and the Akan-inspired Nkwanta Hammered Brass Punch Ladle, also indicative of the region’s artisan traditions.
The first of his family to be born in the U.S. from Ghanaian parents, Adjepong said growing up in New York City made him bold and that growing up around Albanian, Puerto Rican, Jewish, Italian, West African and Caribbean cultures greatly influenced his cooking style. Still, he’s been drawn to Ghana and travels there at least four times a year. Accra, a booming cultural hub for Afro Beats, art and fashion, is also a burgeoning pulse for both the kitchen and the design worlds, he said.
Crate & Barrel and Crate & Kids senior vice president of product design Sebastian Brauer said when contemplating new partnerships, the firm has an eye out in “special corners of the world” on what’s resonating with communities and audiences beyond just the design world, from cooking to music, technology and fashion on an international scale.
“When chef Eric’s team approached us, we saw a powerful opportunity to bring his first kitchen line to life. We worked intimately with him to celebrate his West African heritage and multicultural New York City roots and combined that with his talent as a chef with Crate & Barrel’s timeless and global design approach, to create functional pieces…,” he said.
A rising star in U.S. television, Adjepong is known for his success in bringing West African cuisine into the mainstream culinary conversation. Following experiences in several Michelin-starred restaurants, he entered the “Top Chef” circuit and was featured as a finalist on season 16. On Food Network, he has made appearances on “Selena + Chef,” “Chopped,” “Guy’s Grocery Games,” “Supermarket Stakeout” and “Tournament of Champions.” He also has a degree in culinary arts and nutrition from Johnson & Wales in Rhode Island and a masters degree in public health in international public health and nutrition from the University of Westminster in London. On Wednesday he became the Save the Children’s newest global ambassador, joining fellow celebrities Jennifer Garner, Camila Cabello and Dakota Fanning.
Eric Adjepong for Crate & Barrel’s exclusive collaboration will be available in-stores and online at Crate & Barrel from Thursday.
Crate & Barrel’s fashion-forward sister brand CB2 is also reaching further afield, scouting designers and collaborations with compelling storytelling. Last month its Black in Design Collective launched by artist and designer Evan Jerry, added leading Niamey, Niger-based architect Mariam Issoufou Kamara and Lagos-based designer Nifemi Marcus-Bello to its roster.

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez, aka Bennifer, have finally found their perfect love nest — one that’s modeled after a famous queen’s lavish chateau.
It may have taken them two years and three failed escrows but the wait paid off because this mansion is the ultimate luxury home for the power couple.
Many were confused over the stars’ indecision to commit to buying a property. With an unlimited budget at their disposal, it was a little out of the ordinary that these A-listers kept changing their minds.
According to reports, the two looked at mansions in the range of $35 to as high as $85 million in the most exclusive neighborhoods. But none of them quite passed the mark, leading people to believe that there was trouble in paradise. Or are they just really picky?
All doubts were cast aside when the lovebirds set their eyes on this mansion. They instantly fell in love with the property! They paid $61 million in cold cash and the deal took just one week to close, per TMZ.
What’s not to love? This stunning mansion is inspired by one of the most iconic chateaus in history.
The mansion was modeled after Marie Antoinette’s chateau, Le Petit Trianon
Dubbed the Wallingford Estate, the Beverly Hills abode features French-style architecture that was originally modeled after Marie Antoinette’s private chateau, Le Petit Trianon.
The queen’s manor, located on the grounds of the Palace of Versailles, was a gift from her husband, King Louis XVI.
Known for her love for all things opulent, Marie Antoinette adored her private estate. It served as a place of refuge, where the queen staged operas, productions, and lavish parties.

The Wallingford’s exterior features stately columns, large windows, and a rectangular shape that echoes the iconic design of Le Petit Trianon.
While the interiors have been modernized with state-of-the-art technology and contemporary furniture, it still retains its French Neoclassic ambiance.
Ben and J.Lo’s house has 12 bedrooms and 24 bathrooms
Situated on a 5.2-acre lot, the megamansion boasts a total of 12 bedrooms and 24 bathrooms across an impressive 38,000 square feet of indoor living space — providing plenty of living space for Ben and Jen’s blended family.
You can take a closer look inside Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez’s new mansion here (swipe to see the revamped interiors):
The couple are co-parenting peacefully with their exes (Jennifer Gardner and Marc Anthony) and share five children between them.
There won’t be any shortage of space for their big family in this huge mansion!
Like its sprawling grounds, everything about this house is grand. The double-door entryway opens to an expansive living room with double-height ceilings and large skylights that make the space even more massive.
White walls with frame molding display sophistication, while large windows allow plenty of natural light to brighten up every corner of the open floor space.
JLo previously shared a glimpse of the mansion’s downstairs area on Instagram while celebrating the success of Mother with her friends. Walking from the stairs to the bar, fans got a view of the gorgeous interiors of the ground floor.
Another highlight of this property is its secured grounds — a top requirement among high-profile celebrities. The mansion is surrounded by tall hedges and comes fully fenced with secured entrance and exit gates from two different private streets.
This design layout safeguards the often-photographed couple from prying eyes and paparazzi. And we know all too well how much Ben Affleck ‘loves’ paparazzi, don’t we?
Recreational amenities include a 155-foot-long infinity pool, a home theater, spa areas, a full-service salon, and a sports complex complete with a basketball court, a pickleball court, a fully equipped gym, and a boxing ring.
Visitors can also enjoy a slice of luxury living in the 5,000-square-foot guest penthouse. This structure also houses the garage area, which is large enough to fit 90 cars!
It’s one of the most luxurious homes in all of Beverly Hills
Fitting for one of Hollywood’s most famous couples, Ben and Jennifer’s new house is one of the city’s most impressive mansions and was once one of L.A.’s priciest listings.
Sitting mere minutes away from the Beverly Hills Hotel in the gated Wallingford Estates community. It had previously been owned by healthcare entrepreneur Jeoung Lee before real estate mogul Gala Asher picked it up for $22 million back in 2016.
What followed was an extensive renovation that brought the sprawling mansion into the 21st century. Asher then sought to capitalize on his big investments in the property by listing it for a whopping $135 million in 2018.
With no takers, a series of price adjustments followed, until the famous couple finally took it off the market in 2023. The final sale price was $60,850,000 — which amounts to $1,601/sqft.
The moral of Ben and Jen’s house-hunting saga? Patience pays off. By holding off on their purchase, they were able to find a perfect palace to call their home. A happily-ever-after ending for a Hollywood royal couple.

There is a difference between being rich and wealthy.
However, most people combine rich and wealthy into one bucket because they both seem so far off and unreachable.
It is important that you understand the distinction because what one person considers “rich” might actually be considered “wealthy.”
There is a huge difference between the two words, no matter how they are used.
Earning a lot of money does not automatically lead to happiness and success because when one achieves happiness when it can be reflected in the fulfillment of ambition.
Being rich usually means that you have an abundance of material things such as money and expensive items.
Being independently wealthy can be seen as someone who has a lot of money, but it also means that they have enough money that will last the test of time.
There is a difference between being rich and being wealthy, but they are both can be seen as positive things.
Let’s discuss the different types of wealth and how they are defined in order to help differentiate these two concepts.
The real key of Rich vs Wealthy is the discussion on which one you should be striving to be.
So, is it better to be rich or wealthy?
What is a Rich Person?
A rich person is someone who has a lot of money and assets. This may be a businessperson, an investor, or just someone who has been very successful in their field.
This rich person has probably created new money vs old money.
Rich people tend to barely save any money and spend excessively, meaning they run out of cash quickly. For example, a rich person might earn $10,000 in a month while spending $12,000 to wind up with a negative $2000 when the month is over.
The amount of debt for a rich person tends to be higher. They are willing to keep up the lifestyle rather than tell others about their debts.
To be rich you have to be able to take the risk of having money to invest and time to wait for the windfall.
What is a Wealthy Person?
A wealthy person is someone who has a lot of money for their lifestyle standards.
Since a wealthy person is consistently growing their money because they save and are wise with what they have. They tend to think of the future and put away some cash for it rather than spending everything.
Their goal is to take their large sum of money and grow that money even more through active or passive income.
A wealthy person does not have to be a number-crunching billionaire or someone who is living lavishly.
It is all about the decisions that you make and how those decisions can lead to wealth.
You can start to build wealth when you hit your first $100k in investments. When you have a salary of over $100k a year, this is much easier to do fast.
Wealthy people are those who have a lot more money than you do, but they work hard every day in order to keep it.
Rich vs Wealthy Money Habits
Rich people tend to spend more money than wealthy people.
The difference between rich people and wealthy people is that rich people have money habits that often lead to debt. Rich people are not usually frugal, and they tend to spend a lot of money.
Also, rich people have the ability to earn more if they choose something different in the future.
Rich people are usually defined as those with a net worth of over $10 million, but there is no set number for how much money someone has to be considered rich.
Wealthy people, on the other hand, have an annual income of $150,000 or more. Their wealth comes from hard work and saving money to slowly increase their net worth.
Broke People Habits:
Spend time watching TV and playing video games

How to Go from Rich to Wealthy
Many people feel the need to be rich because they have the idea that being rich is key to success.
However, many times, wealthy people are wealthier than their counterparts who are both richer and wealthier.
If you are rich, then it is important that you are not frugal because many times, being wealthy means having a lot of money and saving the rest. If you have a lot of money and are not frugal with it, then you could end up broke.
However, if your goal is to become wealthy meaning having a lot of money AND saving, then you are on the right path to financial freedom.
This is the difference between being rich and wealthy.
Rich vs Wealthy Mindset
First of all, the definitions of each of these are really close.
A rich mindset is a state of mind that knows that there are no limits to what you can achieve.
A wealthy mindset believes that success and wealth come from hard work and dedication.
Honestly, both money mindsets are needed to keep pushing yourself to reach financial freedom and enjoy time freedom.
You need a rich mindset to grow your money, but a wealthy mindset to keep that wealth.
The wealthy are more likely to have a growth mindset than the poor because they know that money is merely an instrument for achieving their goals.
Whereas, rich people often spend too much time worrying about what others think of them and why they aren’t as successful or wealthy as other people in society.
How to Become Wealthy
This is a question that has been asked many times, and finding the answer depends on how you define wealth.
In general, becoming wealthy means having enough money to support yourself without any outside help.
You have enough money to cover your expenses without the need for an additional influx of money. For many people, that means they need at least $1 million dollars, so they can live off the investments gains and dividends. If you are single, then $500k may be enough.
As such, becoming wealthy is one of the most difficult things to do.
If you are constantly struggling to make ends meet and never saving money, then becoming wealthy will be even harder for you to accomplish!
Here is what you need to do to move from well off vs rich vs wealthy.
Step #1 – Get out of debt
For people who are in debt, the solution is simple: get out of debt.
But for a lot of people, they need to make some changes before they can do that.
It’s important to get out of debt and that takes time. The more debt you have, the longer it will take.
However, I will tell you from personal experience. Until we paid off our debt, we didn’t make any progress financially. We were stuck on a hamster wheel. Since paying off our debt, we reach our financial goals so much easier.
Track your progress, set goals, and stay motivated while getting out of debt.
Step #2 – Stop comparing yourself
Although comparisons can be helpful and may indicate which side is doing better or worse, they are not always accurate. Sometimes comparing yourself to others will make you feel inferior and frustrated.
Keep in mind that you are not just the sum of your accomplishments.
Stop comparing yourself to other people and start focusing on the things that make you happy.
Conversely, spending time with people who inspire you will help cultivate a wealthy mindset. It can be anyone from your family members to celebrities, but it is important that these individuals are inspirational and not toxic for your mental health.
Step #3 – Become Your Own Boss
This doesn’t mean you can’t keep your 9-5 job. It means you are looking for ways to make money outside the traditional “job.”
An entrepreneur is a person who organizes and runs a business, typically with manageable risk and a small amount of capital, in order to turn it into a profitable venture.
Become creative with ways to bring in extra money. Some ideas include day trading, dropshipping, starting an Etsy shop, driving for Uber, or walking dogs.
Here are great ways to make money on the side:
It is possible to make more money on your business than you make more money in your current job or career.
Step #4 – Be Generous
Be generous to others.
Being wealthy means living a comfortable life and being able to help others.
Giving away money can be a way to build wealth, but it is not the only way. This helps you realize the impact you can have on the world.
Your small contribution can help shape and change the lives of so many.
Consequently, giving and helping others will motivate you to work harder and continue building your wealth.
Step #5 – Think Long Term & Set Goals
Life goals have exploded in recent years and many of us are now focused on growing our own wealth.
The truth of the matter is both wealth and richness are great.
Wealth enables a person to live life on his own terms and allows them to achieve the things they have dreamed of.
But, getting there does not just magically appear.
It takes a plan of action to reach those smart financial goals.
By consistently saving money, you will slowly build your net worth. Step by step you are building the foundation to become wealthy.
Baby steps to becoming wealthy.
Rich vs Wealthy Quotes
This rich vs wealthy quote from Stephen Swid is one of my favorite all-time quotes.
This quote quickly summarizes the difference between the wealthy vs rich definition.
“Being rich is having money; being wealthy is having time.”
As an American businessman and investor, Stephen Swid spent countless hours on various deal negotiations and build his own wealth. He understood the wealthy vs rich meaning.
This quote is something I focus on when making decisions of what next steps to take.
What does this quote mean to you?
What is considered being wealthy?
Being wealthy is a subjective term that can be interpreted in many ways. The definition of the term is different for everyone, so it’s hard to answer this question definitively.
Many people believe you need 7 figures or even 10 figures.
One could be considered to be wealthy or poor based on their country’s standards, their personal spending habits, and the types of investments they have.
The richest people are those who have made their wealth through investments and not necessarily the ones that have spent a lot of money.
The definition of wealthy is different for everyone, but it’s generally considered to be someone who has a lot of money and financial stability.
Being wealthy is measured by how much money you accumulate and save.
It is understanding your personal finances to budget, track savings, contribute to retirement, and grow liquid net worth.
A wealthy person is someone who has made wise decisions. Wealth does not have anything to do with how much money you have in your bank account.
Do you Fit the Definition of Wealthy vs Rich?
Now, we have covered the difference between the wealthy and the rich. If you’re wondering what is the difference between rich and wealthy, it’s not that complicated.
Rich people are those who have saved, invested, and built net worth through their income or assets. Wealthy people can follow these three simple steps to build your own wealth: save money in a savings account or investment account; invest in stocks, bonds, or other securities for growth; create an asset such as real estate by purchasing property with borrowed funds on low-interest rates
The key distinction between being rich or wealthy is the mindset.
Rich people might have more money in their bank accounts or assets, but they don’t think of themselves as rich because they are worried about their appearance and keeping up with their elite society. Wealthy individuals are those who see value in accumulating wealth primarily through investing and growing their financial portfolio with investments over time.
A rich person is someone who has more money than the average person but may not wealthy. They are always looking to make more money and spend more because they believe that there is not enough time or money in this world for them to enjoy.
Wealthy individuals are those who can afford to buy things and choose not to because it helps them increase their net worth and become more wealthy.
The only way to be wealthy is by being smart on your investments and having time for yourself in order to find happiness.
Being rich may or may not be something you should aspire to be. The more money you have, the more responsibilities you get.
There are many rich and wealthy people who are unhappy because they are so busy trying to keep up with society’s expectations.
