Systeme.io has emerged as a versatile tool in the digital marketing landscape, often met with initial skepticism due to its bold claim of being an all-encompassing, free platform. This skepticism is not uncommon; many assume that a free, all-in-one software solution might compromise on quality.
However, as experienced firsthand, Systeme.io defies these expectations, offering robust functionality that genuinely surprises new users.
The platform serves a multifaceted purpose, aiming to simplify the digital marketing process. It’s designed for entrepreneurs and businesses seeking an integrated solution for email marketing, sales funnels, website building, and more. The importance of such a tool lies in its ability to streamline various marketing tasks, which are often scattered across different platforms, into one cohesive system.
How Systeme.io Works
The user interface of Systeme.io is a standout feature, characterized by its user-friendly design. This ease of use is particularly appealing to those who are new to digital marketing tools. The interface is intuitive, making navigation and operation straightforward, which is a stark contrast to the often complex dashboards of similar tools.
At the core of Systeme.io are several key features that make it a comprehensive digital marketing solution. These include email marketing capabilities, sales funnel creation tools, a website builder, options for hosting membership sites, and affiliate program management.
Each of these features is designed to work seamlessly with the others, providing a unified experience. For instance, the email marketing service is notably efficient, rivaling established providers like ConvertKit, AWeber, and MailChimp, especially with its free subscription model that remains functional up to a certain point.
Features of Systeme.io
Email Marketing: Systeme.io’s email marketing tool is not just about sending emails. It allows you to segment your audience, create personalized email campaigns, and track the performance with detailed analytics. For instance, you can segment your audience based on their behavior, like those who clicked a specific link in your last email. This level of customization ensures that your messages are targeted and effective.
Sales Funnel Builder: The sales funnel builder is a standout feature. It’s not just about creating a sequence of pages; it’s about guiding your potential customers on a journey. You can set up a funnel that starts with a landing page, leads to a product page, and ends with a thank you page, all while tracking user behavior. The drag-and-drop interface makes it easy to design each step, and you can add elements like pop-ups or forms to capture leads.
Blogging and SEO: Systeme.io’s blogging platform is straightforward yet powerful. You can create SEO-friendly blog posts with ease, thanks to features like customizable URLs, meta tags, and integration with Google Analytics. This ensures that your content is not only engaging but also ranks well in search engine results.
Automation and Workflow: Automation in Systeme.io is about saving time and creating efficient processes. For example, you can set up an automation rule to send a welcome email to new subscribers or trigger a specific action when someone purchases a product. This feature simplifies complex marketing tasks, making it easier to manage large-scale campaigns.
Affiliate Program Management: With Systeme.io, you can run your own affiliate program. This means you can recruit affiliates, track their performance, and manage payouts all within the same platform. It’s an excellent way for businesses to expand their reach without a significant increase in marketing spend.
One of the most significant benefits of Systeme.io is its cost-effectiveness. The platform offers a surprising amount of functionality without any initial investment, making it an attractive option for entrepreneurs and small businesses with limited budgets. This aspect was particularly striking, as it’s rare to find a platform that provides such a wide range of features for free.
Another major advantage is the all-in-one nature of Systeme.io. It eliminates the need for multiple subscriptions to different services, consolidating essential marketing tools into one platform. This not only simplifies the management of digital marketing activities but also ensures better integration and efficiency. The platform’s ease of use is a testament to its well-thought-out design, catering to users who may not have extensive experience in digital marketing.
Drawbacks of Systeme.io
Despite its many strengths, Systeme.io is not without its limitations. One notable drawback is the limited customization options. While it offers a range of templates and a user-friendly interface, users who desire more advanced customization may find the platform somewhat restrictive compared to more specialized software.
Scalability can also be a concern with Systeme.io. As businesses grow, their needs become more complex, and the platform may not be able to keep pace with these evolving requirements. This is particularly relevant for larger businesses or those with highly specialized needs. Additionally, while Systeme.io integrates well within its ecosystem, it may have limitations when it comes to integrating with external tools and services.
Systeme.io Pricing Structure
The pricing structure of Systeme.io is one of its most appealing aspects. The platform operates on a freemium model, offering significant functionality without any cost for up to 2000 contacts or email subscribers and three sales funnels. This approach allows users to thoroughly test and experience the platform before committing financially.
When compared to competitors, Systeme.io’s pricing is highly competitive. For instance, platforms like ClickFunnels offer powerful functionality but at a higher cost, typically starting at around $100 per month after a free trial. This can be a significant investment, especially for new entrepreneurs or small businesses. In contrast, Systeme.io’s paid plans, which provide access to a broader range of features, are more affordable, starting at less than $30 a month.
Comparative Analysis with Other Tools
To provide a broader perspective, let’s compare Systeme.io with other popular tools in the market:
Feature/System
Systeme.io
ClickFunnels
HubSpot
Kartra
Email Marketing
Advanced segmentation and automation
Basic email functionalities
Comprehensive email tools with CRM integration
Advanced automation and lead scoring
Sales Funnel Builder
Intuitive drag-and-drop builder
Highly customizable funnels
More focused on inbound marketing
Similar to ClickFunnels with added features
Blogging and SEO
Basic but effective SEO tools
Not a primary feature
Advanced SEO and content strategy tools
Limited blogging capabilities
Automation and Workflow
Simple automation rules
Complex automation capabilities
Extensive automation with CRM integration
Advanced automation but steeper learning curve
Affiliate Program Management
Integrated affiliate management
Available but less intuitive
Not a core feature
Robust affiliate management system
Pricing (Starting Plan)
Free plan available
$97/month
$45/month
$99/month
This comparison shows that while Systeme.io offers a comprehensive suite of tools at an affordable price, platforms like HubSpot and Kartra provide more advanced features in certain areas but at a higher cost. ClickFunnels, on the other hand, is more expensive but offers highly customizable funnel-building capabilities.
User Reviews and Testimonials
User reviews and testimonials play a crucial role in understanding the real-world effectiveness of Systeme.io. Many users have shared success stories, highlighting how the platform has helped them streamline their marketing efforts and grow their businesses. These positive experiences often emphasize the platform’s ease of use, comprehensive feature set, and excellent value for money.
However, it’s also important to consider critiques and common issues raised by users. Some have pointed out the limitations in customization and scalability, as mentioned earlier. These critiques are valuable for potential users to set realistic expectations and for the platform’s developers to identify areas for improvement.
Systeme.io for Different Business Sizes
Systeme.io’s suitability for small businesses is one of its key strengths. Its simple interface, combined with a comprehensive set of tools, makes it an ideal choice for small enterprises looking to establish or expand their online presence without a significant investment in multiple tools or platforms.
For medium to large enterprises, the relevance of Systeme.io can vary. While it offers a solid foundation for digital marketing, larger businesses with more complex needs might find the platform somewhat limiting. However, for businesses at the cusp of growth, Systeme.io can be an excellent tool to start with, providing a cost-effective solution for scaling up their marketing efforts.
Final Verdict on Systeme.io
The overall assessment of Systeme.io is overwhelmingly positive, especially when considering its target audience of small businesses and entrepreneurs. The platform offers a remarkable range of features at an unbeatable price point, making it an excellent choice for those starting their digital marketing journey or looking to consolidate their marketing tools.
The recommendation for specific user groups would vary based on their size, needs, and experience in digital marketing. For beginners and small businesses, Systeme.io is an excellent choice, offering everything needed to get started with digital marketing. For more established businesses or those with very specific needs, it might serve as a stepping stone before moving on to more specialized or advanced platforms.

Is it worth it to start a blog in 2024? Is it profitable to have a blog?
If you’re thinking about starting a blog, then I think it’s a great time.
Whether you want to start a blog or create a social media account and make money on there (such as TikTok), a blog of your own is something that I always recommend. This is because you own your blog and you are in control!
Perhaps you’ve been thinking about starting a blog for some time, but you’re afraid that you have waited too long.
Every year I get the same questions from people who are thinking about starting a blog but are worried that it’s too late.
I also have friends who have started blogs in the past year or two and were told the same thing.
I still remember the early days from when I first started my blog.
I was so clueless when I first started my blog. And, it seemed like a very random thing when I first heard about blogging, but I decided to go ahead and create a blog of my own.
Making Sense of Cents was started simply as a way to keep track of my own personal finance journey. Most people in my life didn’t even know I had a blog.
It’s so funny to think back to when I first started my blog, but I’m so glad I gave blogging a chance. I can’t imagine how different my life would be if I had listened to the people who said it was too late to start a blog.
Because of how blogging changed my life, I love telling others about it. That’s exactly what I’m doing today if you are on the fence about starting a blog.
Blogging helped me pay off my debt, quit my regular job, travel full-time, and more. The best part is that I love what I do. And, as you can tell from my business income reports, I now earn a great living from my blog.

Is it worth it to start a blog in 2024?
1. Yes, you can still start a blog
2024 is not too late to start a blog, but you will want to get started! I hear from so many bloggers who have delayed launching their blogs because they are afraid.
Well, you won’t know how blogging will go for you unless you start a blog.
Yes, blogging has changed over the years, but it is constantly changing and always will be. You will have to do things differently than when I first started blogging, but that’s normal with any online business, job, and so on.

2. There is space for new bloggers
I often hear, “But there’s so many blogs out there now.” Yes, there are many blogs, but there is still space. It’s all about finding your own voice and attracting your own audience.
I am still finding brand new blogs that I love, and it’s exciting watching them grow.
Everyone is different, and everyone has their own point of view.
Of course, just like with any time, you will have to find ways to make your story stand out, grow your audience, and more. But, that is completely normal.
Plus, there are so many social media platforms that you can grow on as well, such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and more.
3. Blogs can make money in 2024 (and into the future)
Companies and brands are still putting money toward investing in blogs and social media accounts.
Companies are increasing their marketing budgets, specifically to grow their market and audience through blogs.
And, that’s where you and I come in!
Before, companies usually would advertise and promote their products through celebrities, TV shows, movies and more. However, these days, so many people are buying products from things that they see from their favorite bloggers and social media accounts, and companies are definitely noticing this and are putting more of their marketing budget toward it.

4. Starting a blog can be quite enjoyable
Okay, so not everyone will love having a blog. That is completely normal! After all, not everyone likes every single job out there either.
But, for me, I absolutely love blogging. And, I know many others who do as well.
I enjoy helping others improve their financial situation, reading blog posts from other bloggers, finding new people to talk to, working on my blog, and especially writing.
I love waking up each morning to work, and I no longer dread work like I did when I had my day job.
Blogging is both challenging and rewarding, as there is always something new to learn. And, it’s a lot of fun to reach and connect with new people through your blog.

In this free course, I show you how to create a blog, from the technical side to earning your first income and attracting readers.
5. You can start a blog for cheap
A blog is very affordable to create.
I spent less than $100 total for the whole first year of Making Sense of Cents.
If you are interested in taking the steps to learn how to create a blog, I have a tutorial that will help you create a blog of your own for cheap, starting at only $2.75 per month for blog hosting (this low price is only through my link). In addition to the low pricing, you will receive a free website domain (a $15 value) through my referral link if you purchase at least 12 months of blog hosting.
This means you can learn how to start a blog in 2024 and make money for less than $50 a year.
I started my blog with super cheap blog hosting, and I designed it myself (even though I had no experience ever doing something like that).
I did pretty much everything myself so that I could save money, and while it was a learning experience, it was well worth it.
This is great because you can start a blog, test it out, and not spend a lot of money.
6. You are in control
Do you want a flexible schedule? What about controlling how you make an income? Want to work from home?
By starting a blog, these are all things that you can be in control of. You get to be the decision-maker when it comes to deciding on what type of business you’ll run, your schedule, your goals, the topic you write about, and more.
I love being in complete control of what I do, and becoming self-employed may allow you to feel that way as well. I enjoy deciding what I will do each day, creating my own schedule, determining my business goals, handling everything behind the scenes, and more.
7. You don’t need to be a tech wizard to start a blog
I get asked this all the time, “Do I need to be good at social media or know how to code in order to start a blog?”
No!
You definitely do not.
In order to become a blogger in 2024, you don’t need previous experience. You don’t need to have a computer degree (I don’t think I know any bloggers who do, haha), previously be active on social media, or know how to design a website.
These are all things that you will learn as you go, or you may even hire some tasks out.
Nearly every single blogger was brand new at some point, and they had no idea what they were doing.
I’m proof of that. I had just learned that blogs existed when I started Making Sense of Cents, and I definitely didn’t know that bloggers could make money. I learned how to create a blog from the bottom up and have worked my way to where I am today.
Now, that doesn’t mean that blogging is easy. It will require hard work and the beginning can be tough. But it is something that you can learn.
8. You can still learn how to start a blog
One of the great things about starting a blog in 2024 is that there are many free resources that can help you get started.
In fact, I didn’t spend any money in the beginning in order to learn how to blog – instead, I signed up for free workshops, free resources, and more. Since I didn’t know what I was doing, I knew that I didn’t want to spend a lot of money.
Here are some free resources to help you learn how to start a blog.

How can I start a successful blog in 2024?
Here are some things to keep in mind in order to create a successful blog:
Brainstorm a good blog niche. Some do better than others, and this is something to keep in mind
Be self-hosted and create an easy-to-navigate blog design
Brainstorm and write content for your blog
Create an email list
Start social media accounts
Find ways to grow your blog

Is it still profitable to start a blog? Is it worth it to start a blog and make money?
Yes, blogs can still make money in 2024. I think starting a blog can definitely be worth it and valuable. You can turn your hobbies, expertise, and/or creativity to start a profitable blog. And, even if you don’t have strong writing skills, that is something that you can learn as you go.
Luckily, you don’t need much to start a blog either. An internet connection, computer, and a domain name are the best ways to start!
If blogging is so wonderful, then why doesn’t everyone start one?
Not everyone starts a blog because it isn’t for everyone.
That would be like saying that becoming a zoologist or an astronaut is for everyone.
Everyone has different skills, different passions, and more.
So, not everyone will want to be a blogger. That is completely fine.
Learning how to earn money blogging is work, and just like with all jobs – not everyone wants what you want.
And, for every successful blog out there, there are probably hundreds of bloggers who will never earn money blogging. While you can earn money blogging, not all bloggers will.
It would be like saying that 100% of people who start a business will see success. That is just never going to happen – businesses fail, business owners have a change of heart, and others just don’t find it enjoyable.
I know I am always talking about the positives of blogging, but I also like to mention how it’s not the easiest.
After all, if blogging was easy, then everyone would do it and everyone would make thousands of dollars a month.
But as you know, that’s not the case.
Not everyone is going to earn money blogging because it can be a lot of work! Most new bloggers quit just a few months in. A few months is not enough time to see if your blog will be successful. It took me six months before I started to earn money blogging, and I only earned $100.
It’s funny and weird to think about what life would be like if I would have quit back then.
I’m constantly learning something new when it comes to blogging, and that is why I enjoy it so much.
If you are interested in starting a blog, I do recommend giving it a shot.

Want to learn how to make $1,000 in 24 hours?
While it’s not as easy as making $100 in a day, you do have some options.
Some may allow you to make $1,000 right away, and others may mean that you have to build up to reach this level.
Perhaps you’re looking for extra money to pay for an unexpected bill that popped up (like a car repair or medical bill!), or maybe you’re just looking to increase your income by having a $1,000-a-day income goal.
Key Takeaways
The fastest way to make $1,000 quickly is to sell stuff from around your home, like electronics, jewelry, or nice furniture.
Freelance jobs like consulting and writing can pay a high income.
Jobs in the gig economy, like driving or delivering, can make you money right away, and you can stack them with others to increase your daily earnings.
$1,000 a day in passive income is possible through starting an e-commerce business, a blog, and selling digital products (like a course or printable).
Best Ways To Make $1,000 In 24 Hours
Here are the best ways to make $1,000 in 24 hours.
1. Sell stuff online and near you
If you want to learn how to make $1,000 by tomorrow, then the fastest option is usually to find items in your home that you already own to sell.
This is because you already have stuff in your home (the average household has over 300,000 items!!) – so you may be able to sell something to make quick cash.
So, these would either have to be a lot of items or more expensive items. For example, you could sell clothing or gift cards, something big like a piece of furniture, electronics (maybe a gaming system or computer?), or a piece of jewelry.
Here are places where you can sell your stuff:
eBay: This site is great for unique or collectible items.
Amazon: Good for books, electronics, and almost everything. Here’s a helpful article to learn more – How To Work From Home Selling On Amazon FBA
Craigslist: The site has a wide range of categories for selling in your local area.
Facebook Marketplace: Connects you with local buyers.
Pawn shops: Quick cash for things like jewelry.
Flea markets: Rent a booth for the day and sell homemade items.
Garage sales: Set up a sale in your yard.
Poshmark: Easy online marketplace to sell clothing online.
To sell your stuff for the most money, make sure you take clear pictures, write honest descriptions (is there a tear or a stain?), price items competitively, and clean your items to make them more appealing.
And, always remember to stay safe by meeting in public spaces and avoid sharing personal information. With some effort and strategic selling, you can reach your $1,000 goal.
2. Start a blog
Starting a blog is not a quick way to make money, but it can be a stepping stone to making $1,000 in a day.
Plus, it’s my favorite way to make money online. In fact, I earn over $1,000 a day with this blog. So, I know that it is possible (don’t assume that means it is easy – it is not easy, trust me!).
Here are some steps to get started with a blog:
Set up your blog:
You’ll want to start by choosing a topic to write about, such as finance, family, travel, food, etc.
Purchase a domain name (this is basically the name of your blog).
Select a hosting service and install WordPress (you can find my tutorial for this here).
Write blog posts:
Write helpful and fun blog posts.
Publish a blog post at least once a week.
Monetize your blog:
Affiliate Marketing: Include affiliate links in your posts.
Sponsored Posts: Partner with brands for sponsored content.
Ad Revenue: Sign up for Google AdSense, Mediavine, Adthrive, or another display advertising company.
Drive traffic:
Promote your content on social media.
Engage in community related to your niche.
Guest post on other blogs to find new readers.

3. Freelance writing
Freelance writing can be a great way to make money quickly.
I have been a freelance writer for years, and I also know of many other freelance writers who are able to earn $1,000 in a day. For a freelancer who writes high-quality articles, a $1,000 day is simply a normal day for them.
Sites like Upwork, Fiverr, and Freelancer have plenty of writing opportunities across many different industries. If you can write quality, original content quickly, it’s possible to reach your goal of $1,000 by taking on multiple writing assignments.
You could also try cold pitching, which is where you find businesses that could benefit from your writing services and send them an email about how you can help them achieve their goals with your writing.
To make $1,000 in a day as a freelance writer, you may want to focus on your existing network as well, if you have one. So, this means that you may want to reach out to former clients or colleagues who might need your writing services.
4. Real estate investing
Although real estate investing requires up-front cost and time, you may be able to build up to earning $1,000 a day.
$1,000 a day is $365,000 a year, which some real estate investors are able to earn through methods such as:
Renting out a home on Airbnb
Flipping properties for income
Investing in REITs
And more.

5. Affiliate marketing
Affiliate marketing is my favorite way to earn money, and it helps me to earn $1,000+ a day here on this blog.
With affiliate marketing, you are promoting products or services on your website, email list, or social media account. If you get someone to sign up or purchase through your referral link, you then earn a commission.
Most products that you can think of have an affiliate program too, so there are plenty of things you can share.
Think about sharing books from Amazon on your blog, for example. You share a link to a specific book and tell your readers to buy it through your special link. Companies like Amazon like affiliates who bring in good traffic because it helps them make more sales.

6. Making money on YouTube
Creating a successful YouTube channel can lead to you making an income. While it’s unlikely to make $1,000 within 24 hours from right now, you may be able to get up to that amount by building a following on YouTube by consistently producing high-quality videos.
I know several YouTubers who are able to make $1,000 each day through their YouTube channel.
Here’s a breakdown of some different ways to make money with a YouTube channel:
Ad revenue – Once part of the YouTube Partner Program, you can earn money through ad views on your videos. You’ll need at least 1,000 subscribers and 4,000 watch hours in the past year to join.
Channel memberships – Your fans pay a monthly fee for special perks like exclusive badges, emojis, and access to members-only content.
Super Chats and Super Stickers – During live streams, viewers can purchase Super Chats and Super Stickers to highlight their messages. This is a direct way to earn as you interact with your audience.
Affiliate marketing – Promote products within your videos and include affiliate links in the video description. You’ll earn a commission for every sale made through your links.
Sponsorships – Companies can pay you to create content that features their products, especially if your content aligns with their brand, and you have an engaged audience.
7. Drive with Uber or Lyft
Driving for a rideshare service such as Uber or Lyft can make you money, but it might be difficult to make $1,000 in one day. It can help you to reach a $1,000-in-24-hours goal, though, by stacking it with other side hustle opportunities.
Also, there are things you can do like focusing on high-demand areas and driving during peak hours to increase the amount of money that you can earn.
I know of several people who only drive for these gig apps when they know that they are able to make the most amount of money. This is because you may be able to earn hundreds of dollars extra each day or week by timing when you drive.
Here’s a strategy to boost earnings:
Drive during peak hours – Surge pricing during busy hours means higher rates.
Look for driving bonuses – Look out for streak bonuses and other incentives. Uber or Lyft will list these in the app.
Manage your car expenses – Keep track of your gas, maintenance, and other costs to maximize profits.
Peak Times
Potential Earnings Boost
Rush Hour (AM/PM)
Increased Surge Pricing
Weekend Nights In Nightlife Areas
High Demand, More Rides
Events (concerts, sports games, etc.)
Surge Pricing, Bonuses
To reach your goal, you should know about your city’s traffic and when people need services. Getting $1,000 in a day is tough, but with a good plan, hard work, and a bit of luck, it’s something you may be able to work toward.
Other gigs related to this include driving for Instacart, Doordash, Uber Eats, and other food delivery services to earn cash. They won’t earn you $1,000 in a day, but they can be another way to make money.
8. Sell printables on Etsy
Designing and selling printables on Etsy, such as planner pages or art prints, is a creative way to make passive income. While reaching your goal of $1,000 quickly might be a challenge, growing your Etsy store can lead to long-term earnings.
I know of several successful printables sellers, and it is something that I would like to start one day as well. This is an area that I think will just continue to grow. Printables are very popular these days, and more and more people use them all the time. I personally buy printables all the time, and I find them very easy to use and helpful.
Printables are digital items that you can download and print at home, such as grocery shopping checklists, budget planners, wedding invitations, wall art, and more.
I recommend signing up for the Free Workshop: How To Earn Money Selling Printables. This free training will give you great ideas on what you can sell, how to get started, the costs, and how to make sales.

9. Sell your engagement ring
Selling jewelry, such as an engagement ring, can lead to you making money fast for when you need money right away.
If you really need the money and don’t mind parting with your engagement ring, then this may be an option for you to look into.
The value of your ring will depend on several factors, including the 4 Cs — cut, color, clarity, and carat weight — of the diamond, as well as the metal type and current market conditions.
One company I recommend looking into is Worthy.
Worthy sells wedding rings, loose diamonds, earrings, necklaces, bracelets, and luxury watches. They take care of everything, including appraisals and getting payment from the buyer.
You send your jewelry to them using a label they give you, and it’s insured. They put your item up for auction, and professional jewelry buyers can bid on it (you can set a minimum price). After the auction, you get the sale amount minus Worthy’s fee.
It usually takes around 2 weeks for the whole process, from sending the ring to getting paid.
Pawn shops and local jewelers are faster, but they might not give you the best prices. Selling online can make more money, but it takes longer with the auction process.

10. Look for Craigslist gigs that pay
If you’re aiming to make $1,000 in a short span of time, you may be able to find quick jobs on Craigslist. Most of these will be one-time jobs, but there may also be full-time or part-time jobs.
To find Craigslist gigs in your town, just go to Craigslist and look for the “gigs” section.
Here are some jobs I found through a quick search:
Help loading and unloading a moving truck
Help with painting a home
Pet sitting and dog walking
Taking online surveys
Delivery driver
Data entry
Turning photographs into digital copies
Transport and install a microwave
House cleaner

11. Rent out your unused storage space
If you have extra space at home, you can rent it out to people in your area for storage. This could be a garage, driveway, closet, basement, or even an attic.
While reaching $1,000 in a single day would definitely be a stretch, renting out your space could give you a long-term income that you stack with other jobs on this list to make $1,000 a day.
You can use a website called Neighbor to list any extra space you have for rent, and you could make up to $15,000 per year.
You can also learn more about Neighbor at Neighbor Review: Make Money Renting Your Storage Space.
12. Consulting
If you’re really good at something, like business or marketing, selling consulting services can make you a good amount of money. You can charge more because of your expertise, and it’s doable to reach your $1,000 goal by taking on a few well-paying consultations.
I know several consultants who are able to make a very high income, in fact.
Companies hire consultants to get outside knowledge, a fresh viewpoint, and handle specific issues better.
Here’s how to start selling consulting services:
Identify Your Expertise – What are you good at? It could be marketing, finance, management, technology, or any other area where people seek expert advice.
Set Your Rate – Determine an hourly rate that reflects the value of your consultation. As a point of reference, if you charge $250 per hour, you would need to book four hours of consulting to meet your goal.
Network – Reach out to your professional network and let them know about your consulting service. Recommendations can go a long way.
13. Ask for a raise or for more hours
Talking to your boss about a raise might not get you $1,000 in a day, but negotiating a higher salary can be a good long-term strategy to make more money each year.
When approaching your employer about a raise, preparation is key.
Demonstrate your value – Before the meeting, compile a list of your accomplishments, contributions, and any additional responsibilities you’ve taken on.
Research market rates – Know the industry standards for your position and experience level to set a realistic raise request.
Time your ask – Ideally, schedule this conversation after a significant achievement or during a performance review.
Another way to increase your income at the job you already have is by working overtime. If you are paid hourly, you can see if your employer needs you to work any extra.
14. Sell an online course
If you know a lot about something, you can make and sell an online course. Websites like Teachable and Udemy let you create, host, and sell your course. While you might not make $1,000 right away, getting students over time can bring in a good amount of money.
I have an online course that I sell, Making Sense of Affiliate Marketing. I have also taken many online courses, such as on helping my toddler get better sleep, speech therapy for parents, business courses, blogging courses, and so much more.
And, these are all created and run by people like you and me.
There are many other things you can teach in an online course, such as:
Painting
Music lessons
Fitness and exercise
Time management tips
Parenting
Languages
Computer programming
Personal finance
Traveling
Photography and photo editing
Plants and gardening
Baking and cooking
Arts and crafts
Dropshipping
And so much more!
How Can I Get A $1000 Loan Within 24 Hours?
So, after reading the above, maybe you realize that you need $1,000 quickly and the above won’t work out for you fast enough. If that’s the case, then a loan may be another option to look into.
If you need a $1000 loan in 24 hours, first look at your options. Check if you can use your own things for quick cash. If not, check out personal loans and other ways to borrow money, but be aware that quick loans like these typically have very high interest rates that can be hard to pay off.
1. Assess your credit score: Your credit score plays an important role in your interest rate and terms of a personal loan. Generally, a higher score increases your chances of getting approved for loans with lower interest rates.
2. Explore online lenders: Some online lenders offer loans within a day, so you can get a $1000 loan in 24 hours. Fill out an easy application and compare the terms and payment choices from different lenders to pick the best one for what you need.
3. Look for short-term loans: If time is really important, you may be thinking about short-term loans like payday loans or title loans. They usually get approved faster, but keep in mind, these loans almost always have high interest rates and shorter times to pay back, so please be as careful as you can. You don’t want to go into some crazy debt that you will never be able to pay off.

Combined into a series of federal, state and local laws, your specific renter’s rights get dictated by where you live. They’re in place to prevent things like housing discrimination and rent gouging. These basic rights ensure you have a safe, clean place to live as well as detailed courses of action when things are going wrong.
Landlord-tenant law helps you live peacefully in your rental. Do you know your tenant’s rights?
Fair housing
Before even taking a tour of a potential apartment, it’s your right to have fair access to housing. This means your rental application will not get rejected based on:
Race
Color
Religion
Age
Sex
National origin
Family status
Mental or physical disabilities
Your renter’s rights in this case receive protection at the federal level by the Fair Housing Act. State and local laws may reinforce the Fair Housing Act and even add more categories to this list to ensure everyone has equal access to apply for housing.
Not only can your rental application not get refused based on these factors, but, if you have a disability, landlord-tenant law requires they make reasonable accommodations for you to access the apartment. This could mean installing ramps or making a unit on a lower floor available.
Legal documentation
Another piece to your renter’s rights is the lease. It’s the responsibility of the property manager to give you a legal rental contract to sign that abides by all laws.
In addition to specifics about the property, and breakdowns for processes like requesting repairs, using common areas and more, a lease must clearly indicate the leasing period and your monthly rent. It should also have your name, and any roommates, on the document.
The lease should also include a series of general disclosures. The law requires these, although it varies by state which specific ones must get listed. A few common disclosures you may see in your lease if they’re applicable to the rental unit, include:
Notice of mold
Lead-based paint disclosure
Notice of sex offenders, recent deaths and any potential health or safety hazards
Living space
A variety of rules govern your living space when you’re a renter. This ensures you have somewhere to live that’s actually livable. Tenants’ rights, when it comes to your actual apartment get pretty involved, so make sure you know the highlights.
Habitable housing
It’s not enough for a property manager to provide you with an apartment; the apartment must be safe for you to live in it. This means more than a lack of dangerous conditions. Your renter’s rights entitle you to a home with usable utilities, including heat, electricity and water.
This area of your renter’s rights also means you have a home that’s safe and livable in other ways. Specifics within these guidelines require an apartment to have functioning locks on doors and windows, smoke detectors and a dedicated way to escape in case of fire.
Repairs
This area of landlord-tenant law requires action on both sides. To ensure you have a habitable home, it’s up to you to report any maintenance issues using the process that’s outlined in your lease. Find out the best way to report issues like this to your landlord (such as through email or an online portal).
On the management side, their responsibility is to complete repairs in a timely manner. Your lease will define what this means, but different repairs rank higher in priority. For example, failure to repair a heater in winter can quickly lead to an uninhabitable living space for safety reasons, whereas a garbage broken disposal doesn’t create that serious of an impact.
If your property manager fails to make repairs in a timely manner, you have additional rights. Check with state and local laws about what’s within your rights.
Privacy
Although you’re only renting a home, and someone else owns it, your rights as a tenant mean a certain level of privacy. Once your rental agreement is in place, a property manager cannot come into your home without proper notice.
Notice is also required for more than just repairs. If you’re getting ready to move, and the property manager wants to start showing your unit to prospective tenants, for example, they must give you notice each time.
Security deposit refund
Each state usually handles security deposits differently as far as how much you’re required to put down. It’s normal for you to pay a security deposit though since that protects the property manager from having to pay out-of-pocket for any damages you may cause while living in your rental.
As far a payment goes, some states set caps on how much a property manager can ask for. They also can’t impose a higher deposit for your rental, when compared to other units in the building, without a specific reason, like having a pet.
It’s also within your renter’s rights to get the security deposit back, in a timely manner, if it’s not covering any damages. Most state laws set the time frame at 30 days, and you’ll not only receive your security deposit back but any interest that accrued as well.
If any of your deposit is withheld, you can ask for written documentation of the damages it’s paying for, and the property manager must comply.
Eviction
The situations where your property manager has the right to evict needs clear stating within your lease. Make sure to review them before you sign it.
Standard landlord-tenant law states that you can get evicted if you break your lease in specific ways, such as:
Failing to pay rent
Allowing prohibited animals to live with you
Having roommates that aren’t on your lease
Committing a crime on the premises
As a renter, your tenant rights enable you to address evictable issues within a specified time frame before an eviction can take place. You will receive notice of a pending eviction from your property manager. If you fail to fix the issue, they can then file an eviction with the courts resulting in legal removal from your rental.
State-specific renter’s rights
Although you’ll find many standard regulations associated with renting if you move between states, expect additional laws everywhere you go. Since renter’s rights get regulated on both the state and local level, if you’re relocating to a different part of the country — familiarize yourself with local tenant laws.
Some unique landlord-tenant laws include:
In Hawaii, security deposits with no deductions must get returned within 14 days
A property manager must give 48 hours notice before entering your apartment in Delaware
West Virginia has no minimum notice required for a rent increase on month-to-month rentals
In North Carolina, two month’s rent is the required minimum for a security deposit on a one-year lease
A lease can get terminated once rent is only five days late in Arkansas
As you can see, some states have pretty extreme rules. Being aware of them can help you maintain a positive relationship with your property manager while also protecting your own rights as a renter.
Know your renter’s rights
No matter how great, or rocky, your relationship is with a property manager, you should always follow the law as it pertains to your situation. This not only protects you, but it ensures your property manager gets held accountable when anything isn’t up to par.
Familiarize yourself with state and local landlord-tenant laws, read your lease thoroughly before signing and do your research when faced with a potential issue. Protect yourself by knowing your tenant’s rights.

Looking to learn the best ways to make money while you sleep?
Do you ever feel worn out from your regular routine and tired of struggling to manage your money? Just picture being able to earn money even when you’re sleeping, without having to work long hours.
In this article, I will show you 19 ways to help you reach financial freedom by earning passive income, such as while you sleep.
Having different ways to make money might seem like something crazy, but with the right plan and some hard work, it can actually happen.
In fact, I earn income all the time while I am sleeping and I love it. Now, that doesn’t mean that it’s easy. Some of the ways below will be harder than others, and they may take up a lot of time still. But, you may be able to earn money throughout the day from the hard work that you put in.
Key Takeaways
There are many ways to make money while you sleep, such as by blogging, selling digital products on Etsy, renting out storage space or real estate, putting your money in a high yield savings account, earning dividends, and more.
Some are easier to start than others – so make sure to think about the pros and cons, such as how much time it may take you or how much money you will need to start (your minimum investment!).
19 Best Ways To Make Money While You Sleep
Below are 19 ways to make money while you’re asleep.
1. Blogging
My favorite way to make money while I’m sleeping is by blogging, and it is a great way to make passive income while you sleep. I have been blogging for many years now (since I started Making Sense of Cents, I’ve made more than $5,000,000 from my blog), and I am able to work and earn money while I am asleep, such as by selling digital products, display advertising, and through affiliate marketing.
This is because readers read my blog posts throughout the day and night, even when I am not working. I have blog posts and advertising on my site, for example, that earn me income throughout the day.
So, what is a blog? A blog is like the article you’re reading now, written and published on a website. It’s basically a collection of written content. You can start a blog about many different topics, such as finance (like my blog!), recipes, family, health, wellness, pets, sports, outdoors, travel, and more.
Other similar ways to make money in your sleep include starting a podcast or a social media account, such as on TikTok or Instagram.

2. Affiliate marketing
If you want to learn how to make money overnight (such as when you’re sleeping), then my absolute favorite way is affiliate marketing.
This is one of the main ways I make money on my blog, but you don’t need a blog to do affiliate marketing either. You can do affiliate marketing on Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, an email list, and more.
Affiliate marketing is when you share products or services from other companies with readers, subscribers, or people that you know. When someone buys through your referral link, you get a commission and earn some money from the company.
Here’s an example: Let’s say you write about a book on your blog and provide a link to it. If someone buys that book through your referral link, you get a commission.
You’ve probably bought things through affiliate marketing many, many times over the years. I definitely have!

3. Selling printables
Making and selling printables is another good way to make money without much active effort.
Printables are digital items that people can download and print at home. They can be things like games for a bridal shower, checklists for grocery shopping, planners for managing budgets, invitations, coloring pages, quotes designed to be printed and hung on walls, and more.
I buy printables all the time, and so do other people. In fact, I bought a printable the other day for my daughter – one that would help her learn the alphabet that I could print out at home for her.
Making printables can be a passive way to earn money. You only need to make one digital file for each product, and you can sell it as many times as you want. All you need is a laptop or computer and an internet connection, which makes it a low cost way to start a business.

4. Investing in real estate
Investing in real estate is a popular way to make passive cash flow while you sleep.
By purchasing rental properties, you can earn a steady flow of rental income from tenants and guests. Also, your property’s value will most likely appreciate over time, which can increase your net worth.
You can invest in residential properties, commercial real estate, short-term rentals (such as starting an Airbnb), REITs (real estate investment trusts), and more. There are pros and cons of each, so you will want to think about that before you get started.

5. Starting a YouTube channel
Starting a YouTube channel is another way to make money while you sleep. This is because you can add affiliate links to your videos, generate ad revenue, form brand sponsorships, and sell products within videos as well.
You’ll need to create videos that entertain, educate, or inform viewers, and get as many views to your videos as you can (for the most part, more page views usually does mean more income).
As your YouTube content becomes more popular, you will earn passive income from past videos while working on new content.

6. Dropshipping
Dropshipping is a type of business where you sell items on an online store, but you don’t do the shipping. Instead, you have a supplier that does the shipping for you.
So, this means that you don’t need to keep any products in stock yourself.
That doesn’t mean that this is easy, though – you have to find trustworthy suppliers and make sure your customers get their orders on time. You will also need to create a website, find a way to differentiate yourself from other dropshippers, take pictures of the items you are selling, answer customer questions, and find ways to grow your store.
The types of items that you can sell in a dropshipping store include clothing, electronics, home decor, pet supplies, luggage, stationary, craft supplies, books, and more.
7. Online courses
I have made over $2,000,000 from selling courses over the years – courses that I have personally created.
Making and selling online courses is a great way to earn money at any time of the day – even while sleeping.
Some examples of courses that can be created include:
Parenting and family
Health and wellness
Woodworking
Dog training
Standardized tests preparation
Playing the guitar
Teaching a language
Traveling
Painting
Cooking
And so much more!
I have taken courses on all sorts of topics over the years, such as baby sleep classes, personal finance, credit card rewards, and so much more.
Creating an online course is one of the fastest ways to use your time, increase your earnings, and help more people.

8. High yield savings accounts
A high yield bank account is a low-risk method to make extra cash while you sleep.
These types of savings accounts earn a higher interest rate than a regular savings account, so your money grows faster.
You will want to make sure that you pick a trustworthy bank and check the interest rates regularly because they can go up or down. Some people move their money into high yield savings accounts often so that they can get the highest interest rates.
Remember, these accounts usually over the long run have lower interest rates compared to stocks or real estate, but they give you a stable and secure way to earn money.
I personally use Marcus by Goldman Sachs as they have a very high rate. You can get up to 5.40% at the time of this writing through a referral link bonus. According to this high yield savings account calculator, if you have $10,000 saved, you could earn $540 with a high yield savings account in a year. Whereas with normal banks, your earnings would only be $46.
9. Dividends
Buying stocks that pay dividends is another way to earn money while sleeping.
When you invest in these stocks, you get a portion of the company’s earnings on a regular basis.
Here’s how dividends work: If you have shares of a company that gives you money because you own them, that’s called a dividend. So, if you own 10 shares of Company XYZ, and they give you $5 in dividends every year, you’ll get $50 in total for that year. Usually, companies give out dividends four times a year. In the example, the $5 they give you every year will likely be divided into $1.25 for each quarter (four times a year).

10. Rent out your garage
If you have extra land or space in your home that you’re not using, you can make money by letting other people use it for storage.
You can rent storage space for things like cars, boats, boxes, and more. This could be your garage, driveway, closet, basement, attic, or even just a shelf.
A website where you can list your storage space is Neighbor. On this site, you can make between $100 and $400 or more every month. How much you earn depends on how much people in your area want to rent and what kind of space you’re renting out.

You can use this website to list your unused space for rent and make up to $15,000 per year by doing so. With Neighbor, you can rent out your garage, driveway, basement, parking lot, shed, warehouse, carport, attic, street parking, or even a closet.
11. Hosting webinars
Webinars are like online classes or workshops about specific subjects (I’ve included a list below of some examples). If you’re an expert in something, you can record a webinar and charge people to attend or sell products and services related to the topic during the webinar.
You can also record your webinars and let people watch them whenever they want, which can bring in money while you are sleeping or on vacation.
For example, you could host a webinar about:
Starting an e-commerce store – Teach participants the ins and outs of setting up and running a successful online store.
Digital marketing strategies for small businesses – You could share online marketing techniques to help businesses grow their online presence, such as tips for TikTok, Instagram, Pinterest, Google SEO, and more.
Stock market investing for beginners – You could share advice and tips for newbies in the world of stocks, mutual funds, index funds, bonds, S&P, and investment portfolios.
How to make money with affiliate marketing – You could teach the strategies behind successful affiliate marketing sites.
How to invest in fine wine – Or, any other type of investment! If there is something specialized that you invest in that is different from normal, you may be able to generate interest in your webinar.
And so much more.
12. Peer-to-peer lending
Peer-to-peer (P2P) lending is when you lend money to people or businesses who need loans, and they pay you back with interest.
Websites like LendingClub and Prosper let you spread out your money to lots of borrowers, which lowers the risk if someone can’t pay you back.
As borrowers make their payments, you get a part of the interest, which adds to your passive income streams that you can make without working.
With a peer-to-peer lending site, people can borrow money from a group of lenders like you and me, rather than from a traditional financial institution like a bank. People use peer-to-peer lending sites for all sorts of reasons such as debt consolidation, home improvement, small business financing, investment opportunities, and more.
13. Selling stock images and graphics
If you like taking pictures, you can make money in your sleep by selling stock images on websites like Shutterstock, Getty Images, or Adobe Stock.
People buy stock images for all sorts of reasons, such as to put on their website, within articles and blog posts, on social media, and more. I buy stock images all the time because they can help to make a blog post more enjoyable to read (you can find several stock images within this blog post, in fact).
A great thing about stock content websites is that they can bring in money even when you’re not actively working. You take pictures, put them on the site, and they can keep making money for a long time.
Some common types of pictures that you can sell include travel, business, people, food, animals, health, fashion, sports, and more.

14. Start a membership site
Creating a membership site where people pay a regular fee (such as each month or each year) for special content, resources, or services is a way to make money.
Some examples of membership sites that you can start include:
Stock image library – You can sell a collection of pictures or videos that subscribers can use for their own projects (such as their own business). Subscribers pay for access to this media library. I personally have been paying for a stock photo membership for years, and I think they are amazingly helpful.
Newsletter – Send valuable and special content straight to your subscribers’ email inboxes regularly where you charge a subscription fee for access.
Mastermind groups – You can form small, focused groups of individuals who come together to support and challenge each other in achieving their goals, and you charge a membership fee for participation. I have seen mastermind groups go for anywhere from free to tens of thousands of dollars a year to participate.
Freelance job board – You can start a site where freelancers can find real job listings and opportunities. Members pay for access to these job listings because they want to find real jobs that pay (instead of having to weed through fake ads or low paying ones).
Consulting or coaching services – You can give personalized advice, coaching sessions, or access to a private community for members looking for guidance in a specific area, like life coaching or business consulting.
Fitness membership – You can create a platform with workout plans, meal plans, and wellness tips. Members pay a monthly fee for access to this content.
Digital downloads library – You can create a library of downloadable resources like ebooks, templates, or software. Subscribers gain access by becoming members.
Community forum – You could create a community around a shared interest or hobby where members can engage in discussions, ask questions, and share experiences, and you charge a fee for access.
Online courses membership – You can start a platform where you have courses on a specific subject, like photography, cooking, or digital marketing, where subscribers then pay a monthly fee to access the content.
Keep in mind, the secret to a successful membership site is giving real benefits to your subscribers. So, whether it’s great content, a helpful community, or useful resources, make sure your members feel like they’re getting what they paid for so that they keep their subscription for months and years to come.
15. Sleep studies and mattress testing
Taking part in sleep studies and mattress testing will most likely not be a long-term, reliable source of income, but it can earn you some extra money while you literally sleep.
You can find these by researching local sleep clinics or mattress companies that have paid studies or testing. Many universities also pay for sleep studies, such as the Harvard Division of Sleep Medicine.
The amount of money you can make depends on the specific study or testing, but it can be an interesting way to earn some extra money or get a free mattress for your time.

17. Amazon FBA
Amazon FBA (Fulfillment by Amazon) is where sellers store products in Amazon’s fulfillment centers, and Amazon handles customer shipping, returns, and customer service on the seller’s behalf. By using FBA, you can sell a variety of products without worrying about storing inventory or handling shipping logistics.
You would be finding the products to sell, though. Even if you have no experience selling on Amazon, you can earn money selling household goods, toys, books, electronics, and so on.
If you want to learn more about starting an Amazon business, I recommend signing up for this free training that will teach you how to sell products on Amazon and make $100 to $500 per day.

18. Write a book
People can buy books at any time of the day, including while you are sleeping.
Self-publishing online platforms, such as Amazon KDP (Amazon’s Kindle Direct Publishing platform), allow you to reach a broad audience without the need for a traditional publisher.
Writing your own book is a great way to make money from home, and there is probably something helpful that you could write about (even if you think otherwise!). One very popular topic right now is romance novels, in fact.

19. Develop and sell an app
If you have technical skills, developing and selling an app can be a way to make money overnight while you are sleeping.
Creating your own app, whether it’s a helpful tool, a fun game, or something else, can help you to make passive income.
Even though it will take some work and money up front, once your app is in the app stores, it can generate revenue no matter the time.
Some ideas for apps that you could create include a budgeting tracker, meal planner, fitness tracker, meditation app, travel itinerary planner, and more.
You will want to do some research, and make sure that there are people who want to use the app that you are thinking about creating, of course. You could start brainstorming ideas by thinking about what kind of app you think could be helpful in your life to have.

It’s a town worthy of its own reputation in Northern California, but few associate Oakland with luxury. They’d be wrong.
This urban cultural center takes you from the Pacific Ocean all the way to redwood forests. It’s complete with plenty of surprising locations to call home. And, although the average two-bedroom rental price is $4,514, what we’re after is something a bit more on the pricer side.
If you double that average and add a little more, you’ll hit the price tag at The Skylyne. It’s home to the most expensive apartment in Oakland. We’re talking about paying $10,840 per month for this three-bedroom, three-bath unit. It’s not only in a great spot in Oakland, but the building has more than enough amenities to make the price tag worth it.
Life near a lake
The Skylyne has it all, including an incredible location in the vibrant city of Oakland. Known for both its arts scene and connection to racial and social activism, the city is a popular place to call home. Getting to the penthouse of this building is an impressive feat.
The most expensive apartment in Oakland sits high up on the 25th floor. From this height, you get some of the best city views, including a lake in one direction and the California mountains in the other.
Situated in the Mosswood neighborhood, The Skylyne puts residents just a bike ride away from Lake Merritt, one of Oakland’s most prominent features. A recreational hub, this three-mile-wide lagoon offers all kinds of water sports and nature trails. It’s also home to the oldest designated wildlife refuge in the U.S.
For some close-by urban exploration, check out Temescal and Pill Hill, two bordering neighborhoods. Both areas have unique features to occupy your time, including Temescal Alley, labeled the hippest street in the East Bay. When it’s time to take a trip across the bay to San Francisco, it’s only a 26-minute BART ride to the heart of downtown.
A home at the top
Saying you live in the penthouse at The Skylyne is impressive enough, but then you get to take a peek inside the 1,877-square-foot apartment. Not only are there three bedrooms and three bathrooms but all the natural light you could want. Floor-to-ceiling windows take advantage of the panoramic view.
Within each of those bedrooms, you’ve got oversized closets and access to AT&T gigabit fiber internet. For some fresh air, you not only have balcony space, but the rooftop amenities are right down the hall.
Stroll into your chef’s kitchen for the big jackpot. You’ll find quartz countertops and stainless steel appliances, a microwave, disposal and dishwasher.
Additional in-apartment amenities include wood-grain flooring, keyless apartment entry and an Electrolux washer and dryer. It’s a veritable grab bag of goodies for the $10,000+ price tag.
Amenities that keep coming
It’s perfect that the most expensive apartment in Oakland sits on the top floor of The Skylyne since that’s where its best amenities are, too. On the roof, you’ll find the Sky Kitchen and Lounge and the Sky Splash Deck with a pool and spa. The rooftop is also equipped with outdoor fire pits and barbecues so the party never has to stop.
There are plenty of social spaces throughout the building. You’ll find a flex fitness studio and fitness club for keeping in shape. There’s a sports lounge and game room for some recreational fun, too. When you need to get out of your home office, hit up the co-working lounge, as well.
Movie nights get taken up a notch with a screening room, and game nights with neighbors are easy, thanks to a social room.
If you’ve brought a furry friend with you to The Skylyne, they’ve got their own set of amenities. Take them to the Woof Deck, complete with a paw spa.
Giving special attention to the types of transportation common in Oakland, amenities extend to all kinds of vehicles. There are charging stations for electric cars and Wheel Works, a DIY bike shop.
You may never want to leave the most expensive apartment in Oakland with so many extras at your fingertips.
How to afford $10,840 in rent
Paying this much per month in rent isn’t easy to budget for. Living the affluent lifestyle in Oakland means having the paycheck to back it up. Many experts suggest you not spend more than a third of your pre-tax income on rent. This means you need to rake in about $390,240 per year to stay within a safe range.
It’s possible to land a job in the techie East Bay with this kind of salary, but consider what else that’s purely Oakland that money could get you:
4,927 amazingly beautiful Fortune Cookie Factory fortune cookies. They’ll blow what you get with take-out out of the water. This is where the fortune cookie folding machine was invented.
722 hours of kayaking on Lake Merritt
451 visits to the Oakland Zoo
309 Blue Bottle Coffee blend boxes to give friends and family a taste of Oakland coffee
54 meals (without the drink pairing) at Commis, one of the only Michelin-starred restaurants in Oakland. There’s no ordering a-la-carte, just a multi-course tasting menu.
While it’s not necessarily realistic to buy almost 5,000 fortune cookies, it’s interesting to think how much $10,840 in rent really is each month. You got to live large to factor this apartment into your budget.
Alternative options for high rollers
If a $10,000 payout in rent isn’t your thing, but you have a little extra money to burn, Oakland has a lot of other options all over town that don’t hold back when it comes to luxury living.
These apartments offer up lots of rooftop amenities and that modern, urban vibe that pairs so well with the real heart of Oakland.
Penthouse aspirations
We all aspire to live the high life someday, and with the most expensive apartment in Oakland, you’re physically on top. The penthouse unit may cost you $10,840 a month, but hitting the literal top is an impressive benchmark for anyone. Whether you’re already there or still climbing, enjoy the ride.

Transcribe Anywhere success stories
Transcribe Anywhere has helped many students start their transcription careers. Many students of Transcribe Anywhere have built successful transcription businesses after completing the course.
Here are some Transcribe Anywhere testimonials:
“I purchased this general transcription training course recently to help me get started in a new career and I couldn’t be happier with my decision. This is an extremely comprehensive course. There’s NOTHING out there like this (believe me, I looked) and it has ALL you need to get started! I highly recommend this course!” – Laura P.
“I took kind of a backward journey to Janet’s course! I started work doing legal transcription several months ago. I took the Transcribe Anywhere course “Legal Transcription: Theory and Practice” as a way to increase my skill set. The course was great! I discovered what I didn’t know, which not only helps me with my current work but also with obtaining my CET certification, which I want to do in the next few months. If anyone is wondering about legal transcription work in general, I can tell you I love it. The work is so interesting to me, and the ability to work from home is wonderful. I have a fairly active family, and I love being able to switch my hours around and work early, late, or weekends if I need to.” – Krista K.
“My husband was recently transferred to another state for work and I cannot join him until my son graduates from high school. This created a financial burden for us as we were going to have a house payment and a rent payment in another state. I needed to generate some income for us quickly but I didn’t want to work outside the home. I began the legal transcription course in April. There were definitely times when I thought I wouldn’t be able to complete the course because it is not easy. However, I knew I needed to do this for my family and I persevered, passing my final exam at the end of July. I began searching for work soon after, and within two weeks was hired on doing government work. Staying the course and completing what I started has allowed me to generate an additional $1600 per month for my family. If you are looking for a reputable course, this is it! Without this course, I would never have been able to work from home and generate this kind of income.” – Tracy R.

While women tend to lean towards side hustles for women, it’s high time for men to dive headfirst into the captivating world of side hustles!
How can a guy make extra money?
Making extra money doesn’t have to be monotonous. Whether you’re a tech whizz, an avid creator, or a hands-on worker, there’s something for you.
There are so many ways to make money. I just read this story about a college kid starting with $300 and turning his sticker side hustle into a full time business. 1
These options can yield solid income by leveraging your unique skills and interests. Want to learn more? Keep reading; we have plenty of ideas for you!
Top Side Hustles for Men
As my hubby said, extra income takes the financial strain off the normal job. With side hustles, you can choose how you want to spend your time – watching sports, playing video games, or making money.
The choice is yours!
Right now, learning to make money online for beginners is the most popular place to start.
1. Invest in Real Estate
Around here at Money Bliss, we always stress how to make your money work for you and real estate is no different.
Real estate investment is a golden opportunity that not only offers a steady income but also the potential for property value to soar. Keep in mind, that it’s a long-term game that requires a significant upfront investment.
However, there are many options like flipping properties, renting properties, or even investing through a REIT. Dive into the world of real estate to maximize your returns. Let your money do the heavy lifting for you.
2. Day Trader
Many men opt for trading stocks and options as a side hustle for several compelling reasons.
Trading offers flexibility, as your research can be done at any time, making it convenient to manage along with a nine-to-five job.
It has an immense profit potential, given the volatility and opportunities present in the global stock markets.
Many want to earn a rate of return greater than the average return of the S&P 500 – a common benchmark index for that competitor inside them.
Finally, trading presents an opportunity for continual learning and development, as successful trading requires staying updated with financial news, stock apps, market analysis, and economic trends, thereby enhancing one’s financial literacy.
Trade & Travel
Learn to trade stocks with confidence.
Whether you want to:
Retire in peace without financial anxiety
Pay your bills without taking on a side hustle
Quit your 9-5 and do what you love
Or just make more than your current income….
Making $1,000 every.single.day is NOT a pie-in-the-sky goal.
It’s been done over and over again, and the 30,000 students that Teri has helped to be financially independent and fulfill their financial dreams are my witnesses…
3. Become an Umpire or Referee
Sports fans, here’s your calling! Transform your passion into a profitable part-time gig by becoming a sports referee.
There is a HUGE shortage of umpires and referees.2 Rates per game can range from $20 to $60, and over time, you can earn even more as you referee older leagues. Plus many leagues are paying more to incentivize refs to come back to the fields.
Not only does it assure good pay, but it also lets you enjoy your favorite sport, exercise, and create exhilarating moments. Check it at your local club or league for training and to get started today.
This is something my brother-in-law did all the time and easily made 200 dollars a day.
4. Participate In Medical Studies
If adding to medical knowledge interests you while earning, consider participating in clinical trials.
Compensation depends on various factors like the study’s length and complexity. You can earn $50 to $300 a day!
It’s worth considering if you’re comfortable with potential risks and lengthy commitments. Websites like ClinicalTrials.gov or your local hospital could help you get started. It’s a unique way of contributing to medical research while making money. Do check the risks before diving in!
5. Moving and Heavy Item Delivery
Feel like adding some muscle? Moving and heavy item delivery might be your perfect hustle. If you’ve got a buddy, a solid back, and a truck (or can rent one), this is the gig.
You could easily earn about $20-$25 an hour helping people move houses or delivering large items. Opt for evening or weekend gigs to fit around your day job.
Get started by advertising your services or using apps like TaskRabbit or NextDoor. An excellent way to stay fit and earn some extra dollars at the same time!
6. Rent Out Your Extra Room
Do you have a spare room? Then, transform that neglected space into a cash cow.
Airbnb or VRBO can help you lease it out to travelers. Its user-friendly platform lets you manage rentals with aplomb. Plus, you get the chance to grow into a SuperHost.
Another option is to look at investing in a duplex where you live on one side and rent out the other.
7. Woodworking
This takes a special talent like my father-in-law had. He and his boys were known for crafting Adirondacks chairs, bedroom furniture, and patio tables.
So, if you have this woodworking knack, then this side hustle could be a golden ticket. The key to success is to perfect your craft to a few select items to be efficient with your time, so, you can better the profit. Let your handyman skills shine and earn you some extra cash!
The average earnings of a woodworking side hustle in the U.S. can range from approximately $500 to $3,000 or more per month, depending on factors such as the complexity of projects and marketing efforts.
8. Beekeeping
Honey, take note! If you’re not deterred by bees and are interested in agriculture, try your hand at beekeeping. This might be a family affair – like my daughter’s soccer coach.
Honey sells for around $20 a pound, and bees virtually do all the work! Plus, you contribute to pollination and the environment.
Combined with pest control services (like removing large nests), you can amplify your earnings. However, getting comfortable with bees might take time. But, once you do, the sticky sweet liquid gold that is raw honey could put a sizeable amount of money in your pocket.
9. Detail Cars
If you have a passion for cars and cleanliness, consider detailing cars as your side hustle. There’s something gratifying about transforming a dusty vehicle into a sparkling gem.
